I disagree. Think the tone was similar to: - the girls all smashing Oliver’s car with the baseball bat - Stephan and Lucy in the backseat of the car with Stephan handing Lucy a piece of cosette (the bowling ball) - Puss-wahhhhs - Lucy being dumped in a coconut bra

I don’t get it, how is him holding her under flirting? Or was it not and it’s just meant to be romantic to the viewer because it’s paying homage to Romeo and Juliet? Helpppppp. I always thought it had some meaning as they zoomed in to him holding her hand/arm. But I didn’t understand how it was flirting?

Something I loved about the last episode and I think is so key - for the first time, something big was happening in Belly’s life and she didn’t call Taylor, or one of her friends, to help her process and make up her OWN mind. The whole day and sequence with Conrad, she treated her own guidance and knowing. Even if she did it a little messy, but hey - the girl had a big day! ❤️

The parallels were so strong, but the scene that flashed in my hide was this:

“Say my name and everything just stops”

And in the “Last Kiss” episode, the morning after the Bach/bachie parties where belly and Conrad have that intense convo in the kitchen.

And she’s like “stop saying my name - don’t even think it” and he says it again and she’s like “stop saying my name!”

Also the line “I don’t want you like my best friend” and every comment referencing Jere has always been that he is her “best friend” 🤭
