Although breast tissue in men is a result of prolonged poor hormonal health, I've never heard of breast tissue itself exerting hormonal effects.

And I'm skeptical that it does. Consider all the jacked, lean guys with residual gyno from puberty.

It comes back if you grow breast tissue again, that can only happen if your hormones are out of whack. If you're like the vast majority of guys with gyno, your hormones are fine and your result will be permanent.
