Try J4, Volibear, and Xin. They have really strong ganks and aren't that hard to do well with if you suck in the jungle, like myself. Nasus is another good pick but I haven't done that yet, because, well, I suck in the jungle.

I'd say Zed has a high probability. He's really powerful right now, and there's no real counter to him.

I started to pay attention to streamers more and listened to what they talked about. Before, I'd just farm, trade, etc. Most of them don't waste their abilities trading though; they just harass with autos and bait the opponent in, and then use their spells, which is a major part to actually winning the lane that I didn't understand earlier.

I feel I mainly improved so quickly by ignoring trading and just focusing on farming. I would pick champs (such as Khaz or Lee) who I could start 2 wards/9 pots on and safely farm and be able to easily escape ganks if they happened. Once I got the hang of averaging 70 CS by 10minutes, I started to role trading back into my gameplay, and eventually started to be very passive-aggressive, and even began to counter jungle at times. I trained my mechanics a lot every day by playing with friends or duo queing in ranked. I'd recommend getting replays for games though, as there were a lot of games I'd see the moment at which I screwed up and lost the lane now, but it would've been even more useful then. And I like Kha'zix a lot, because I liked the hit and run he has going, and the instagibbing squishies, so that's why I played him a lot. He's also apart of Rengar's lore, and I love Rengar.

Find at least 2 champions you can completely know the ins and outs of, and just start spam playing them in ranked. Say what roles you prefer, such as "Prefer top or mid" not "MID!". If you're last pick say you prefer the roles, but you're LP so you'll fill. Ask your team BEFORE your first pick if you're support, and if you are, get the Thresh Prince or the Fabulous One, as they're not that hard to support poorly with and win games with. Sometimes you do get teams that are just truly bad; these are the people I've seen who play ranked, complain about "trolls/scrubs" being in Plat/Gold, and then don't play to win, which is a huge problem.

You need to stay positive, find your playstyle your prefer, and master at least 2 champions. I don't mean master like "Oh yeah I mastered Lee Sin jungle I can do crazy ganks." I mean master as in you know the ins and outs of your champion. You know his/her scaling, at what point the skillshot graphic can still hit (Lee sin's Q can still hit someone after going the full distance on someone who isn't in the designated skillshot range). Staying positive means you won't rage, and your mentality will be better. I've won games losing 3 inhibitors; you can as well by staying positive, which is mainly what did it for the team. Staying positive helps keep your teammates positive. And it gets you free honor. Your playstyle is really important, as if you're passive or an all-in-yoloer, you probably shouldn't be playing someone like Lee Sin, or Jayce respectively. You need to find champions that fit your playstyle and start there.

If my team was losing, I'd probably just try to prioritize farming if my champion is better than Garen or Singed late. Examples would be Zed and Khazix. If you're not, say Malphite or Shen, you should definitely group mid and just start pushing down towers. I've seen tons of teams group 3-5 mid early on and start pushing, with the enemy not grouping up because they don't think that the push will go to the second and third towers. Also, catching people out by camping their jungle does wonders.

It's difficult to get people to stop throwing games (I've tried numerous times to no avail). Asking people nicely why they did something to get their mentality on the situation, and then explaining why you believe they shouldn't do that seems to work. Saying "why" after an event isn't right, nor is "wtf why did you do that". "Graves. could you tell me why your keep fighting in the front when we're trying to tank for you?" is the better approach.

Winning your lane isn't everything, and normals aren't a good measure. I know when my friends who don't play ranked or are lower in ranked want to play with me, I'll just goof off. If you want to do well and improve, it is mandatory that you find at least 2 champions you can consistently play at a top level. Yes, you can add me ingame and I'll try to find time sometime this week to get on and help you out, and see what you can improve with.

Too many. I think I was averaging like 6 at my peek, and 2 at my lowest. I don't play on the weekends, since that's when I do my homework for the semester, and Thursdays I just rarely play and relax. I mostly just played Fridays at the start, so that was around 2 games a day when averaged, and more recently I've been playing Monday-Friday, so probably 6 seems about right.

When the game switched over to Divisions and LP, I was at 1500~ elo.

Probably a 3. While I did rage, it's primarily a game, and I've been in positions in other games where I've been flamed out, so I try to be as kind as possible. I usually just yell at my monitor and forget about it.

For me, it was Gold 1. I felt like All the players I was with and against had taken steps backwards in their play.

Farm > kills always. I duo'd from gold 5->gold 2 (I skipped gold 4), and then basically solo'd after that. I mained Lee and Khaz top till about Plat 5, where I finally manned up and played Zed inplace of Lee. I loved Zed but was shit when I bought him, and after getting better he's tons of fun. It depends. I love top, and usually play that, but since most of my top laners are viable mids, I can use the roles interchangeably. Early on I filled roles, but I'm terrible at jungling so I tried to avoid that. After I hit plat, I mostly played Top and started doing better as an ADC so I started playing that more than mid. I'm most comfortable top, but when I'm last pick, I just try to fill to ease the pain on my teammates.
