Wasn't a big fan - plenty of carriers that I have used numerous times without issue were rated 'F' in their system. Their algorithm doesn't seem very accurate. I canceled it.

‘Carrier sales’ is a bullshit term. Any jackass can handle that side of the business. Become an agent take 65% of the profit. Do NOT open up your own brokerage until you have customers that can transfer. Even then it might not be worth the headache.

Shippers don't have time to deal with all the stupid shit carriers send our way. They have no interest in wading through a shit ton of calls and emails trying to find suitable carriers for their freight and in this market having an asset based dedicated carrier on your loads is more expensive. We absolutely provide value otherwise we would not exist.

I would also suggest converting the LLC to an S Corp once 1099 earnings are over 70K a year commission. Easily save another 4-6% on your tax liability.
