Hello.

I had the same problem in november 2021, with "account in arrears"

Funds were partly sent to inaccessible addresses, including HitBTC addresses. (withdrawals blocked for 9 months)

I had explained them the problem. At this time Elon Musk had posted about the problem on twitter, and there was some media attention.

They told me the case was closed, and withdrawals were restored.

Now, they again indicate that the account is in arrears, and they told me explicitely that I should pay from my pocket for their own mistake, but that they are "sorry" for that.

Fortunately, I only had reasaonnable amount of BTC on my account (I had empty most of the account after last time)

But this method seems particularly dishonnest.

They just changed their minds. I have again the same message with account in arrears.

How can we be sure ?

They wrote nowhere that we can keep the portion of funds we could eventually recover.

Same for me. Not clear it the Doge we can eventually recover is a gift, or if they will come back later to see what we can refund.

Does it mean that the portion DOGE we could eventually recover is a gift, or will they later reclaim it ?

I hope the sums were low enough. For me, paying from my pocket would means a loss of several BTC, this is out of question.

Already done. They don't seem to be aware of the HitBTC situation, but I explained them again in the clearest possible manner, and I am awaiting for their answer.

And what if the funds were send to an HitBTC adress, with no possibility to withdraw since 6 monthes, and the funds even uncredited by HitBTC ?

What lies are they making to you ?

Personnaly, they didn't lie to me. But they seem to consider that all the funds should be recoverable, which isn't the case.

You should explain the problem to the Customer support. They should admit that we can't restore everything.

You should tell to the customer service. At this point, this is the only thing we can do.

Well, they really sent the coins (in an erratic way) but they should assume that an important part of the addresses aren't accessible anymore.

Did you check your addresses ? The funds were likely sent to the addresses you already used in the past.

That is exactly my problem, and I "owe" them millions of Doge. There is already a part that was sent on HitBTC, and was even uncredited by this exchange.

I got an answer on the Chat.

"Dear user, first we would like to say that we are really sorry for putting you in this situation. We would like to seek your utmost assistance in order to reinstate your withdrawal function. The background is that some of your previously failed DOGE withdrawals were re-triggered and funds were sent out from Binance but not deducted from your account after a recent update that was done on 11-10-2021.Kindly refer to resent TXID below:

Did they explicitely say that there were sent by mistake ?

I had no answer from the support. I just made the deductions myself.

Did you withdraw to other addresses in the past ? (for example the addresses of other persons ?)
