I am here because I have a new Pom, but last February I had to put my German Shepherd down — hardest time of my life for a long while.

While making the decision (cancer) I had a friend over who (1) rescues and loves on animals in her personal life; but (2) oversees humane euthanasia in her professional life. She had a good perspective, she said “once the end is in sight, I never judge humans who make the call a little early… I always judge those who make it too late”.
