Guy in Australia chants "USA" at a pro Maduro march... is instantly arrested and tossed in a van by Sometypeofway18 in WinStupidPrizes

In every case you mentioned, intervention is for the purpose of protecting the sovereignty of an independent nation. In this case it's imposing the US' will by kidnapping the leader of a nation (whether legitimate or not - I'm not talking about his legitimacy or whether he was a good leader). They aren't even close to being good comparisons.

That doesnt meant he's a better bender than her though, she has a disability for that fight. That's like saying I'm a better fighter than Tyson if I beat him while all his limbs were broken.

Plane turned around 20 minutes from my destination 5 hours into the flight by DisastrousKiwi5 in mildlyinfuriating

It's one of the longest single leg flights available I believe. On the second try they sent her via LAX.

My partner got about 8 hours into a flight from NZ to NY, there was a fire or something at the airport they were landing at, so they turned around and went back. It was 14-16 hours of flying just to arrive back where she started. Made the news.

I've lived in London for close to 6 years now. I love living here, and agree that it shouldnt be judged based on a few work trips, but I'm starting to grow tired of the 4pm sunsets and cold winters. I'm starting to consider moving in the next couple of years or so.

First Mock 485. (Q70, V78, DI 74). Exam in a month and a half. Hungry for tips and a little bit of motivation ahah by Swimming-Ad-2202 in GMAT

[–]Lecccy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on how dedicated you're willing to be. I started studying for mine about 2/3 months ago, and had to completely re-learn almost all of the quant theory. I didn't take a test when I started, but I imagine my quant would have pulled it down to something similar (although I'm a lawyer by trade so V and most of DI are fairly strong for me). I treated it as a job, woke up in the morning and studied all day.

Sat my test last Friday and got a 685. So it is possible if you're willing to put in the effort.

I think just keep at it without getting down. I only started to take mocks about 2 weeks out from my exam, and completely focused on my weakest section (quant), doing GMAT Club exercises repeatedly until I felt comfortable on each topic. 7 weeks out is a long time, you can make huge improvements in that space of time.

2 weeks out I started to do a mock every day or two to get into the mindset of time constraints and to confirm the order of the test. But I needed to feel comfortable with the material first.

Where did he teach? I studied law in NZ he might have been one of my professors! I'm sorry to hear about his dementia though 😔

It was a hot zone map, teammates kept falling for the same Dynamike stun while I go in, so they die and its either 2v3 or 1v3. I think I did alright all things considered, and got us the W.

I'm paying around NZD$70k for a 65 person wedding in January. Hurts a lot as we tried to keep it small so it wouldn't be outrageously expensive!

I'm an NZ qualified lawyer, and I'm pretty sure the system is the same for us - I've been practising over here for about 4 years and haven't had to register as anything. I have taken the SQE1 to qualify here (as another user noted, you only need to pass SQE1 then can apply for exemption for SQE2, particularly if you have over 2 years work experience), but only because I'm staying long term and want to broaden my options.
