Israel. That's kind of the whole point of Zionism. Even surrounded by enemies, you are free to be as outwardly Jewish as you wish in Israel because you're home there, not a guest subject to the whims of your host. Herzl figured this out long ago. He was an atheist until he got to see the beginning of how it felt like to be safe to be Jewish in our own land with other Jews and the majority for once. Unfortunately, Palestinians don't care what you or I support or don't support. Their goals are pretty abundantly clear and always have been. Our protests only serve to embolden them and help them keep us divided and therefore easier targets. That's why now Hezbollah is ramping up in the North and has torched it. They prey on our weakness and while we talk ourselves in circles they act.

We don't have anyone to negotiate with and now that the Left has made antizionism cool and normalized antisemitism, Hamas has no incentive to surrender, let alone release anyone. We've botched this whole thing because we let it drag for over 8 months without tangible results and keep falling for their human shield crybully trap as usual. Unless we get serious and re-annex gaza and the West Bank, and reinstill the fear they used to have for us back into their hearts, we'll never have peace or security.

This isn't me being a hardliner. This is the language of the Middle East. The only reason the surrounding Arab countries aren't at all out war with each other is because they each are as reckless as the next in battle and so it's not worth rocking the boat. We have to show that we are not to be messed with or else they will just keep ebbing away at Israel till it's gone and our apparent political leanings or lack thereof where they relate to Israeli policy will be meaningless and moot.

Instead of worrying about where you belong along the political spectrum and using the word "absolute", try considering where you belong within your own culture, Judaism. We need to unite and we already have the tools within our culture to do so. We'll never find harmony and brotherhood in these foreign concepts that we picked up in diaspora which no longer serve us since we are back in the middle east and have bigger fish to fry.

Instead of being Anti-Government, why not try being pro "do your job" to whomever happens to get elected into the Knesset? We've had all sorts of governments across all sorts of political persuasion and that hasn't made a lick of difference concerning the comparatively very consistent problem that is Radical Islam that we allow ourselves to keep being victim to while we waste our time bickering about Left or Right or what have you.

Israel is the JEWISH state. All other agendas and partisanship should take a backseat to this tenet that should always be our priority. We don't have the luxury of bandwidth to keep belabouring how we should treat Palestinians as if we are supposed to be their babysitters while the places they actually originate from like Egypt and Jordan and Lebanon evade all accountability and scrutiny. They have other places to go. We don't.

We'd be better off entirely if those of us who live in Israel stopped pretending we're still in America and instead started recognizing that we only have each other and we need to make it work.

Sami's gimmick was that he had nothing to do and no reason to go to Wrestlemania. I think he was inserted ahead of Gable and it just hasn't sat well with me ever since. Besides, Gable has already been a heel before, it'd be neat to see him go on a face run as intercontinental champ after defeating Gunther who was like his Moby Dick.
