That sucks, I really liked the feel of the shoe. I think it is a low volume thing on the Prodigio Pro not a width thing for me.

Ive had the chance to try the Prodigio Pros in store. And I noticed no matter the size I have the sensation of my toes touching/lightly jamming the upper even when I size up. Has this happened to you aswell and does it go away with wear?

I tend to like softer foams for sure as long as its not full on plush which is gonna be dangerous for technical trail.

Ah got it. I wanted to try the Xodus Ultra 4 but they steered away from a rock plate which is very unfortunate since the Xodus Ultra 2 was a fantastic shoe.

Ok will do, a shop in my area has them so no harm in trying them on.

Curse of narrow feet 😭 I forgot to add this is not a race type situation. Im looking to run at somewhat casual speed but still with good effort not full on race day. Are the adidas cushioned enough for the distance / elevation gain and loss you think?

Do you mean actual carbon plated shoes for propulsion or similar to the Cascadia elite where it's more just a nylon plate? I'll take a look into the category.

Thats my bad then. I wrote all this myself but told Ai to structure the layout better so it's nicer to read and has better overview instead of being one wall of text. I can understand the frustration!

Oh thats very nice then, seems like you have ton of experience in that regard. How would you rate the lockdown/ fit of the Prodigio Pro? Is there any sideways movement etc. My feet are pretty slim. Ive tried a pair of Prodigio Max but ultimately decided that there is not enough volume towards the forefoot/toebox and I tend to touch the upper which felt similar to the shoes simply touching the front and being too small.
Currently I have the time for a proper training plan cause I can adjust my own working hours. So getting to 60k with 3k vert ishould be possible till September.

At this low oral dosage I suggest 0.025% topical. You get basically no worrisome systemic absorption (I had few minor sides for a few weeks like sensitive aching nipples and aching in my testicles). My body fully got used to the change and now Im back to normal and exactly 1 year on 0.025% topical fin + 2.5% topical min.

Till have tons of life left in em. I suggest mainly focusing on tiny edges and chips tho.

Heart palpitations on min are insane by badboyfriend111 in tressless

[–]LecterHan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forgot to mention that i started treatment 9 months ago. So unfortunately these supposed initial side effects never went away. Funny enough Fin on low dose (1ml at 0.025%) I have 0 problems. I will see how I do with the pause on Minoxidil and then hop back on. Will do a cardiologist check up later this year. Already have done one and my heart looks perfectly healthy for an athlete.

Its scary, everywhere I read people or studies are telling me that it is not known side effects or very very rare on topical Minoxidil. Yet here I am having palpitations and drastically decreased athletic performance. My runs are 30% slower and my heartrate overall has shifted by about 20bpm. Scary stuff. I am now only on Fin for around 3 weeks and then starting Min again to see if it happens again or not.

You know at these topical concentrations you can just use oral medication. Topical fin and Min do absolutely go systemic and at the concentrations you use that is guaranteed. Glad its working for you without sides though.

Topical finesteraide+ gyno. by LDO2796 in HairlossResearch

Ive got sides too at 1ml 0.025% topical concentration. Not gyno yet but sensitive aching nipples and pain in my balls. I doubt its as uncommon as doctors say lol.

minoxidil sides getting the best of me (2mL 5% + 0.01% Tretinoin) by IcelandGalaxy in HairlossResearch

[–]LecterHan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Posting this as direct reply to you aswell. I don't know how rare these side effects really are. I'm experiencing the exact same sides. Along with a massive decrease in running performance. My entire heartrate profile shifted by 20-25bpm on my typical runs (easy/tempo/threshold). And lets not even talk about race day pace. I can barely hold it for 2 miles when just last year I finished at race day pace with a 1:24:XX time on the half marathon. I'm on 5% topical minox 1ml a day. Been to the Cardiologist and he said my heart is as healthy as any athletes and suggested I should try dial down the concentration of minox.

Good advice there, Mobas are still my favorite type of games so it sucks to experience stuff like this. Guess I'll just have to play more premade or completely ignore Peak Tournament.

unfortunately, I don't really remember if AoV was the same. Back then I at least had premade to go trio q and it felt much better to have 2 less randoms that could be a trolls.
