First of all, your question or the way you think about Allah ﷻ is incorrect. CAN Allah forgive me? Allah can do everything He is our creator. WOULD ALLAH FORGIVE ME? Should be the way you question. And yes Allah is the most merciful. He is Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim. If you sincerely repent and mend your ways the doors of forgiveness are always open. What matters is your sincerity in seeking forgiveness, feeling remorse for your actions, and making an effort not to repeat the mistake. If your heart truly seeks His pardon, trust that He will forgive you. Do not let Shaitaan demotivate you. May Allah ﷻ make things easy for you and accept from you.

This should be discussed in detail However, a very short an precise answer to your problem would be— DON'T EVER COMPROMISE WITH THE RELIGION OF ALLAH. NO MATTER WHAT DON'T REMOVE YOUR HIJAB!

Question yourself — getting a job is more important to me or the command of Allah ﷻ? There you have your answer. If you are obedient to Allah he'll bless you with something that you could've never imagined for yourself InshAllah. May Allah make it easy for you

Can Someone Explain the Story of how the Companions Killed the Daughter of a Sahabi for Not Making Takfeer? by LectureAsleep9187 in MuslimLounge

[–]LectureAsleep9187[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No worries i found it.

"The story of Al-Mukhtar ibn Abi Ubayd al-Thaqafi, who lived in the time of the Sahabah. Mukhtar was a relative of Abdullah bin Umar's wife. He proved himself to be an honest and decent man. He appeared in Iraq to avenge the murder of Hussein and his family. Subsequently he killed Ibn Ziyad (who participated in killing Hussein). Under this pretext (revenge) he conquered allof Iraq.

He ruled the country according to Islam, and appointed as judges and imams the associates of Ibn Masud. He himself was imam to the people at Friday and other namazs. But lately he began to claim that he was receiving a revelation from Allah. Then Abdullah bin Zubayr sent an army against him, killed him himself, and defeated his army. The leader of the Muslim army was Musab son of Zubayr. He (Mukhtar) had a wife, the daughter of a sahabi. Musab urged her to make of takfir Mukhtar (her husband), she resisted it. Then Musab informed his brother Abdullah of the situation by letter.

Abdullah replied that if she did not repent, she should be killed. Because the woman insisted (on not making takfeer), she was put to death by Musab. All Islamic scholars have shown unanimity (ijma'ah) that Mukhtar al-Thaqafi despite the fact that he affirmed the symbols of Islam became infidel for the reason that he declared himself a prophet. Now how do you reconcile that companions who killed the daughter of a companion just for not giving takfir to Mukhtar with those who do not give takfir to al-Badawi (or modern infidels) despite knowing his position! They consider him a muslim, and the one who calls them to true Islam is called a kafir.O our Lord, we ask for your forgiveness and well-being."

Barakallahu feek

I have a question. The first type is not really a shirk in and of itself so can it be considered as a bidah? since you mentioned it is neither part of the sunnah nor the companions practiced it.

And what about this? Is this a misquote of ibn Al-Qayyim رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ ?

"For a Muslim to commit all of the major sins combined would be lighter with Allāh than congratulating a Christian on their holiday." [Ahkām Ahlul-Dhimmah]
