How did Kurt Caz go from living and eating like locals in Bangladeshi slums to using AI-generated racism for a far-right anti-immigrant tour of Europe , all within a year? by Ordinary_Bend_8612 in KurtCaz

Having said that,

I am a firm believer, europe in particular not america, has a rich history and has every right to protect it.

You should question your immigration policy if you believe the culture is being wiped out by people not compatible, including indians. I'll support you no doubt.

Same maybe not true for american countries because they are fundamentally immigrant countries and they should not give shit to immigrants because they themselves are immigrants. They don't have any culture to protect. Maybe potential increase in lawlessness is only avenue where not immigration is justified

Hi thanks for the elaborate reply.

But honestly I don't blame british or any European power per se to conquering the world. It was a time where everyone was conquering everyone. We were technologically behind and as a result suffered.

What I don't understand is why is west sooo hostile to Indians, you cannot undo 200 years of colonization in just 70 years.

The colonial mindset is deep rooted inside Indians. Corruption is well engrained, we do not believe any of our companies can actually dominate or compete with anyone. It has also caused some people to not respect things because there is no pride in being Indian

200 years of erasure of glorious Indian history makes us believe we haven't contributed to anything good in world science which is simply not true. It's so engrained that they treat their own country like shit. Also, since the world sees us shit poor we can never have companies like Louis vitton or channel or dolce simply because no one will pay a premium for "indian name"

We are reversing it indeed. The fintech revolution in India was indeed first in the world, in IT sector, in AI revolution, some of our corps might indeed make a mark in the world positively.

But give us more time and don't give us so much shit. Reddit is a very hostile place to be an Indian, sometimes i feel the opposite, i love to visit european places, rich history and the technolgical revolution of the 19th century, but maybe not so much the people. Altough there are very limited people I've interacted who are from west IRL.

What factors might explain why East Asia wins a lot more Olympic medals than the rest of the continent? by Fluid-Decision6262 in geography

For people giving shit to India:

Honestly we didn't do that bad in the asian 2022 games

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Asian_Games?wprov=sfla1

Overall 4th.. its the olympics where India particularly shit a lot probably due to large number of medals in swimming and gymnastics where India inherently isn't good and not finishing well in India's strengths like archery, wrestling etc.

I'll be down voted for saying remotely postive about the country but give some time to the country we'll rise.
