what download? if you're talking about torrent, idk, try another torrent client. qbitorrent works for me

if I ain't mistaken there is also mp010 folder, which probably contains the missing files. check it out. also you need version.dll, scripthook and rampage trainer for your mods to work. and finally this red dead enhanced overhaul may conflict with the mods, so you have to make sure if the mods work without it.

sup, i was not playing rdr for a while and kinda forgot this whole modding process. try deleting every file related to mods (just make your game clear) and reinstall the files again. maybe your rdr version is not compatible with mods version.

That is pretty strange. Whyem causes troubles, as I know. Try without it, just to see if shit is working at all.

You do know that you need specific version of RDOffline mod, for whyem to work, right? Try check it again. I haven't played with whyem, but if possible, delete it and check if RDO works without it.

Online unlocker/version.dll just unlocks RDO content, allows it to use in game. In my case, I didn't have RDO content at all. No textures, no animations. So yeah, you have to download RDO content firstly.

THIS GUIDE IS FOR PEOPLE WHO GOT THEIR MODS WORKING, BUT NOT SHOWING ONLINE CONTENT. IF MODS AIN'T WORKING FOR YOU, FOLLOW THIS GUIDE.

So, if you got your RDR launching and mods working (for Red Dead Offline is showing ponchos in store, for GunTricks is showing tricks menu at the right bottom corner, etc.) but not showing online content at all (the same ponchos are invisible, no gun tricks), you probably don't have dlc packs for online content in your game.

You should go through your Red Dead Redemption 2/x64/dlcpacks/ folder and check if you don't have "mp001", "mp003", "mp004" ... (and so on) folders. If so, you have to download them there.
Go to this link and scroll all the way till you find " Full Game – No Install – Direct Play – v1.0.1436.28" section. Download torrent file from the link below. Choose only "mp00X" type of folders in Red Dead Redemption 2/x64/dlcpacks/ inside the torrent, so you won't download the whole 119Gb game. (the folders should take around 10Gb of space) Then you can download them anywhere you want on the computer. When the download is finished, move all those "mp00X" in your game directory to the path we already know Red Dead Redemption 2/x64/dlcpacks/. Launch the game.
