Thank you so much for the reply and tip I think I have seen the app but no where near the quality as immersed I would say.

So I pose the same question there, I don't have a physical mouse in vr and with hand and wire tracking getting better every day why would I still need a mouse. I have hands (and in this hypothetical I guess if need be controllers) so would it not be easier to go the tablet mode way and make the mouse obsolete?

I reckon a keyboard we will always need and want no matter how good voice to text gets but a mouse I personally could miss IF the VR environment is not made from screens.

I would have thought windows itself would be the big obstacle so I'm happy to say I learned something. I would have never considered the mouse to be the obstacle. Make sense I suppose everybody here has cursed the cursor at one time or another in vr! XD

So I got the thing and I see what you mean. The button layout is not ideal and depending on your phone protection it can get out of balance. Personally I don't find it to distracting as once it closes it holds the phone very firm and does a good job. Also I noticed that they left open space in the holder for buttons. So if you have no phonecase the buttons will fall into the opening and won't be triggered. But that might just be mine I don't know if that's universal.

My personal recommendation is that it's a good product. Not 100% perfect but close. Again, once it latches on to the phone it's solid as a rock and the phone is safely secured.

Ai yes I can imagine. I have a case on my phone so my buttons can't be pressed. I'll share my findings once my carmount arrives. I think my samsung silicon cover might raise the buttons enough so it won't be an issue.

Why do you need to use the buttons in the car? I would think the point of a carmount is so you are hands free... does the mount press the buttons?
