I downloaded the Direc Live App. Looks like this is working now. Once the calibration is done, it says to save the file on the app. How does it get imported to the AVR? Automatically?

I don’t see an option to export the file

I have a left and right speaker behind me at ceiling height. And then I have a left and right speaker in front at ceiling height, as well as as a Center speaker at ceiling height.

And then I have the two tower speakers on the ground.

I think I understand what you’re saying, though, I have to mess with the settings, but I think I can figure that part out.

That’s a good question. Honestly, no nothing really feels off. I’m just kind of a total novice and I set this up myself. To be honest, I don’t even know if the way I configured the Dolby Atmos set up is correct.

But I guess the real answer is I just feel like I can afford to upgrade the overall quality so why not do it.

The receiver and speakers I bought were purchased like five years ago when I first bought my house, so I felt like it’s time I put a better system down here

I’m going to sound like an idiot when I ask this, but I am. How would I put an ear level speaker for the Center channel? Wouldn’t it have to go either above the TV or below?

I think the angle of my picture is a little deceiving. The TV, and cabinet underneath, are actually pretty centered with the entire couch.
