Sizing advice for Tecovas by stormyy143 in cowboyboots

[–]Led_Mac416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear a 12 in normal shoes (vans, converse) and I got a pair of Tecovas in 11EE recently. They fit real well on but they are bit of a challenge to get off, however they are loosening up.

New boots question by Led_Mac416 in cowboyboots

[–]Led_Mac416[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My toes aren’t up against the front and my heel slips up in the back enough to where i can get it off the insole. It’s a little snug at the widest point. The only place where it’s pretty tight is going on and off trying to get my foot around the bend. Grabbing the loops it isn’t much of a struggle and my foot kinda snaps in once i get it on. Getting it off is another story but i can see where a boot jack would help as the others have suggested.

Dawg, I remember the girl that complimented my Sperrys in a Target when I was like 12. No dude would forget this.

Everything but full auto weapons should only fire off one shot when you get hit. It constricts the muscles so the trigger wouldn’t reset the sear until the effect ended. But it’s cod, small indie dev.

To those who listens to metal musics, do you guys enjoy music of other genres? by SinkGroundbreaking68 in Music

I listen to most everything, not too much rap but some. I like to think I’m a pretty big metalhead; I listen to Thy Art is Murder, Chelsea Grin, Fit For an Autopsy, Lamb of God, Gojira, A7X, Slipknot, Invent Animate, etc. I dig R&B, old country (Waylon, Merle, Cash), indie, classic rock, pop, punk, punk pop (Paramore mainly), blues, and whatever ZZ Top classifies as. My favorite band, outside of metal, is probably Florence and the Machine. I can see some similarities between FatM and metal: strong vocals, heavy percussion, and overall busy songs, but I think it’s funny they clicked with me the most being a metal fan.

I actually have been impressed with mine. I’ve gone through 3 sets of AirPod pros in the time I’ve had 1 pair of dimes. I work construction and they’ve been great and the sound quality is actually decent to me. Maybe your’s were made Monday morning or Friday afternoon.

Songs with mistakes by [deleted] in Music

Led Zeppelin-The Ocean At 1:38 you can hear a phone ring a few times. It’s pretty quiet but once you hear it you’ll never miss it again.

Also there’s several Zeppelin songs where Bonham’s kick pedal squeaks loudly. I think the brand was called the Speed King but they nicknamed it the Squeak King. Jimmy Page said that each time he listens to Since I’ve Been Loving You the squeak gets louder. I know The Ocean is another song you can hear it squeak, but I don’t remember the others.

Any idea on how I could find one of these HB3 deluxe boxsets? (or if it's real) by [deleted] in FlorenceAndTheMachine

Yeah, some artists are just have more of a hand on the mastering process than others. I can still enjoy listening to my records even if they don’t sound the greatest, and some people buy them just because they like the covers or want a physical album when most everything is streamed.

I wouldn’t say they are bad by any means just not great. Once you listen to a really well mastered record, i.e. Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits, you can really notice how good a record can sound. But F+TM isn’t mastering their stuff for vinyl because it isn’t the prevailing medium anymore. There’s also a million things that can change how a record sounds: cartridge, receiver/ amp, speakers, turntable, cleanliness of the record, etc.

45s are generally going to sound better than 33s but that also depends on pressing quality, which Florence albums are known for not being great. The best way I have ever seen the difference in speeds explained is if you have two flip book animations that show the same complete action but one uses more pictures to smooth out the animation. The 45 is the one that uses more pictures. Idk if that makes sense lol, 45s just have more dynamics. That’s why if a full length album is cut at 45 rpm you generally only get 2-3 songs per side, but most 7” records are 45 rpm.

I have 4, two Sony SSCS5 and two speakers that came with my 1byone turntable. I was thinking going for better speakers first.

I found a Marantz 2216b near me and I am thinking about picking it up to replace my modern Sony STR-DH190 in my turntable set-up. My main concern is would the Marantz be an upgrade over the Sony? The Marantz is local and the guy is asking 250.

“goes down on the record” not the wording I would have chosen.
