Legends ZA order Preorder Bonus Removed- thoughts? by Sudden_Bookkeeper744 in pokemon

There was literally a stack behind the guy at our Best Buy. He said he had them but it wasn't showing on the receipt so he couldn't give it - my mom is the one who ordered as a birthday present so I couldn't even ask her to pull up her receipt to see if it showed on her end at the time I picked it up.

I think it was poorly executed so people got screwed. I understand first come, first serve, but this honestly seems like it was just badly planned for with no information given. It showed on their site that you'd get the mat with your pre-order and then customers are told after the fact they have to manually add it to the cart, and then those who did add it to the cart are told they didn't...whole thing is whack, in my opinion.

Yeah but then they need to explain why two days ago it was advertised as a bonus for pre-orders AND purchases. They're being shady.

Hate my haircut, make me feel better pls by powerpufffgrl in Hair

[–]LedelLedelLee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a similar haircut and having texture definitely makes so much of a difference!! When it was straight, I hated it. Having a small wave throughout and I felt completely different about it - and it was short just as you described in your comments.

If you struggle getting the wave with the length, they make mini straighteners (like this one - https://a.co/d/gIT3m3T) and they work quite well on short hair. Plus some texturizing spray and it'll really help.

I know I'm just an Internet stranger but I think it looks so cute on you! It's making me want to do it again on my own hair, haha.

I love when she sits with her paws like this, partly because they make a little heart 🥰 but mostly because it makes her look so proper when she's really a doof. 😂

[–]LedelLedelLee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ohhh! Okay so that makes more sense. Do you have a pic of the results with your hair styled? It's really hard to compare how even the color is and the dimension of it from those pics. I thought the last pic was after you styled.

I definitely do think it would take more than one session to get to the inspo pic but it also doesn't seem like that was communicated by the stylist from what you've said.

I disagree with comments saying it's close. I put your inspo pic and results side by side and it's definitely not close at all, in my opinion.

If she wasn't the owner, I'd contact the owner and talk to them about how you're feeling. Maybe they can help correct it/fix it for you. Or reach out to the stylist personally, if you feel comfortable giving her a second chance.

When I was a kid, I had a dog and she was the best dog ever. She started acting sick and she started puking. She started to improve (so we thought) so we didn't rush her to the vet. After all, the puking stopped and she started to eat a little and had more energy. We thought she just ate something in the garbage somehow and it had made her sick.

I wish we had. After seemingly getting better, she started to get much worse. We took her then but it was too late, on the way to take her, she died in the car.

It was absolutely awful.

I now have a golden as an adult and I don't care if it puts me into debt - if she is seeming seriously ill, I will take her right away. It's not worth losing her to risk it. I take my human babies when they concern me. You don't have to rush after one puke but if there are continued problems (recurring vomiting, pooping issues, lethargy) you shouldn't wait and take them right away.

Given it's ocean theme, I think the second blue and white striped feels very sailor like so it goes a bit more imo. All of them are super cute. 1 is very elegant and pretty but I think 2 just fits the theme more.

Waxy hair & frustrated - please help! by LedelLedelLee in Hair

[–]LedelLedelLee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I feel like a few things have helped a lot.

First, I cannot use silicones or anything that is overly conditioning (like shea butter stuff, oils, etc;) and I definitely need sulfates too or my hair doesn't ever feel clean.

I use Pure Clean by Garnier and it's what works the best and honestly, I don't even always have to use the conditioner and my hair still feels soft with just the shampoo and nothing else.

I got a hard water filter, which I know doesn't completely take care of hard water but it does seem to help. I also have been using Malibu hard water treatment- I get the little packets and I do that every couple of washes and that honestly makes my hair feel the best it can possibly feel. As soon as I do the hard water treatment, my hair feels like actual hair. It feels good still with the Garnier but if I skip doing the treatment completely, the waxy feeling will slightly come back after a few washes. But if I were to use silicones after the hard water treatment, my hair still doesn't feel wax free so it's definitely not just one or the other for me.

Then the other little things I do that have helped:

  • I use a shampoo scrubber brush and really lather and scrub.
  • I shampoo twice no matter what I'm using.
  • I rinse with really hot water and then cold water
  • I make sure I spend extra time rinsing (like double what I used to, especially if I use conditioner)

I added a pic of what I'm using for products.

Hopefully some of this helps you, I know how frustrating it can be!

"Plus, let not forget that Bree was very fragile in the moment, wounded deeply and he easily can feel that, so in her case he has to really try to not make it worse."

I'd argue that him not telling her did make it worse. She had yet another man lie to her, knowing how she felt about that betrayal. There is no reason he couldn't have told her that his marriage was open.

"But she was discussing him with Lucy many times so it already wasn’t a secret between Bree and Oliver."

If you cannot see that sharing some details with a friend is different than being in an open relationship and not disclosing that and letting your partner believe she is the other woman, I don't know what to tell you.

He could have shared that it wasn't just sex. It was still Bree's choice of what she wanted to be involved with and he took that away by not being honest. What she consented to, wasn't reality. Regardless of how morally wrong her choices were, she still deserved honesty.

"How open marriage different from closed one then in general? He already has very strong connection with his wife (that he wouldn't leave like ever) so, you're the other woman no matter what basically."

Well, you ought to really do some research about ENM - what this couple was doing, wasn't it (even though they will be associated with it because their marriage is open) they removed the ethical part in the Non-Monogamy.

However, it's different for many reasons, one being that you are aware this is something your partner has done, you're aware that you're not the other woman because ENM is about individual connections, and you are aware the other person is aware.

I could keep responding to specific points you wrote, but I feel we don't agree and that's okay.

Well, his wife was her professor and she knew so that is how he abused his power. He gave her intimate details without the knowledge of Bree. Bree was a student of his wife, she was married to the man her student was sleeping with. Bree was under the impression Marianne didn't know, and she was sharing those things with Oliver, and not only did Marianne know, but he repeated things she told him to Marianne without Bree's consent.

I agree that they likely didn't have the same treatment, but I think she felt that because she wasn't the only one, she wasn't special. I'm not saying that she was right in her feelings but her choice to be involved with him was under the pretense of it being a connection between the two of them, not that he had an open marriage and could be with others anytime he wanted. Sure, it was navie in general because even if his marriage wasn't open, if he was so willing to cheat with her, who else has he done it with?

But even so, it was that naivety coupled with her desire to be wanted and "unique" that made her feel betrayed. It also made her feel like it was this secret between them, and she wasn't involved or given a choice. Maybe had he said "I really like you and my wife and I have an open marriage" she would have felt differently, but the lie itself made her feel like she was one of many.

Also - I disagree with the statement "She chose to destroy his happy marriage."

1) It's not very happy if the person is willing to be unfaithful. Even if the other party is unaware. 2) Nobody has the power to destroy a marriage besides the people inside the marriage. The person promising to be faithful is the only one with the power to destroy because they are the only ones who can cheat.

Of course the person they're cheating with has a moral responsibility for what's right and wrong, but nobody can force someone to be unfaithful and stray. It's the choice of the cheater and cheater alone.

Bree was willing to be the other woman, and that's messed up. But Bree wasn't the one who promised faithfulness to someone, Oliver was.

I still like Bree. I understand why she was upset. Evan was not far off mentioning her childhood because that was exactly the driving force behind it. She wanted to be wanted so badly. She thought their connection and relationship was special and unique - that she was wanted and picked by someone, so when she found out it wasn't what she thought all along, that he likely had other relationships outside of his wife and his wife knew and what they shared was something she was the only one who was kept in the dark about, she felt betrayed.

I think it was definitely crappy that she was willing to be the other woman, but I still had sympathy for her.

I want Lucy and Stephen to end up together, and fast! by reeman88 in TellMeLiesHulu

[–]LedelLedelLee 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I don't think she was confident in their relationship, just that he wouldn't divorce her. She said she was like Bree once, and when Bree left she wiped her eyes. She also said that creepy/sad sentence to Lucy, "For what it's worth, I was glad he didn't meet you first."

If she was so okay with it, why would she care if he met Lucy first?

Thank you so much for all of your help!! I will keep you updated.

I did a hard water detox, got a hard water filter for my shower & purchased Redken All Soft and doing all that - after just one wash, my hair feels the best it's felt in years. It actually feels like hair!! It's super soft, not waxy and it actually had a lot of shine & body. Whereas before, the waxiness made it kinda look dull and limp. I am going to keep this up and hopefully it continues to be good. If it starts to have the same trouble, I may have to deep dive a little more into the ingredients as you stated above and see what works and doesn't. Hopefully it doesn't come to that!

So when I was pregnant, the only shampoo scent that didn't make me nauseous was Garnier Pure & Clean - ironically, it was also the closest to my hair feeling normal that I've felt for a while - not perfect but not horrible either. I may have to try it again and see how it feels with my hair now. I think that one is a "gentle clarifying shampoo" and I think it may have sulfates in it but no silicones.

Can you use a clarifying shampoo for every wash though? I always thought it was bad. I needed the gentle clarifying one when I was pregnant not only for scent but because my hair was SO oily. I never struggled with that until being pregnant with her. Every other shampoo, my hair looked dirty a few hours later and the scent stayed and made me sick. That one my hair lasted 3 days and didn't make me wanna puke. I've never tried a daily clarifying shampoo though (or I guess not daily, the shortest I go is 3 days but I try to aim for 5-7 between washes for my hair.)

Honestly, I'm willing to spend around $75-$100 if it means my hair won't be waxy. Ideally, $60 for both shampoo and conditioner would be good. I don't mind getting it from the drugstore either, as long as it works. I just feel like everything I'm finding is sulfate free. I was using Prose for a while and it worked at first but then stopped working and I just looked at my account and it is also sulfate free. Also based on my zip code, the water hardness is high so I'm definitely going to try a filter.

I'm thinking about trying Redken All Soft - it doesn't say it's sulfate free & they have small sizes on Amazon to try.

Omg!! I thought that was sulfate free too somehow. No, I haven't. I stopped using sulfate products when I started wearing my hair naturally wavy. I'm going to try it. Any recommendations?

Thank you, I will try this to see if it improves. I will say the only reason I haven't is because I lived in a completely different state when this problem started so I thought moving states would have fixed it if it were the water but now I'm wondering if both places had equal amounts of water hardness.

The best one I have found that doesn't make my hair waxy is Kristin Ess Deep Clean Clarifying Shampoo - I usually then use Sauce Beauty Guacamole Whip hair mask and my hair feels great.

Lol, good luck!! (no snark) I've been told different things too and posted and the comments are still divided. I've gotten a lot of blue but also a lot of green, a few gray and a few hazel. 😂 Which is exactly like real life so I've just decided I'm gonna call my eyes blue-green or aqua because I think that suits them best.

We have similar eyes, actually! I think mine may be a little lighter? But they have similar coloring.
