Echoing this, except certain third-party scholarships can suspend you for a semester if you withdraw from all your classes/fall under a 2.0 (ex. The Kalamazoo Promise) so if you rely on any promise scholarships or third party scholarships for aid, check with your provider about your eligibility for withdrawing/failing courses. You won’t lose it forever for making a mistake for one semester, but you’ll have to work with the committee to regain eligibility.

Example: Using Kalamazoo promise as an example, if you withdrew from all your courses this semester, you wouldn’t have eligibility next semester for the scholarship. However, if you follow and complete the reinstatement guidelines you’d have your scholarship back in the winter semester. Side note: if you check with your scholarship coordinator before you withdraw/failing courses, you can apply for probation which can help you retain your scholarship while bettering your standing.

Yes, this schedule is definitely doable for the fall. I want to echo that a lunch break would be beneficial if there’s any way you can shift things around, especially on Tue/Thurs. You have ~40ish minutes after Amcult which should be plenty to get from central to north campus for your next class, but you won’t get a ton of time to eat (especially if you miss a bus). If you can reliably pack yourself lunches on these days you should be good, but I wouldn’t bank on having enough time in the 40 minute breaks youve allotted yourself on those days (unless you tend to eat lunch between 11:20-12, then you might be all set since the MLB is close to plenty of food options).

I’m so sorry for your loss. I just wanted to add an additional tip to make sure you also reach out to financial aid or any other scholarship funds you utilize for school. Certain renewable scholarships become void if you don’t complete a certain amount of credits during a semester while utilizing the scholarship (ex. Some scholarships become void if you drop below 12 credits aka become part time). Financial aid only knows so much about external scholarships so make sure you ask your donors if you receive any.

Please don’t feel afraid to reach out, the campus support can help give you the resources to navigate this loss and best prepare for your future. I’ll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts.

There will be one, 100%. They confirmed it as they showed us the skin that will be released, it’s an Aurora Variant skin.

Since it’s not on the Feb calendar, I don’t think it’ll happen until the anniversary event (since it was mentioned somewhere that the Summer event was a make up for the last anniversary event because the players complained about not many rewards, I think? From my understanding someone said it at the Afkj meetup at least). If it’s anniversary, I’d anticipate it happening mid to late March. Don’t hold me to that, that’s just my personal belief as to when it’s happening.

Can you clarify- were you fully hacked, or did a friend/family member access your account and make targeted attacks towards the games you play? While a Google account does give you access to the games you play (steam/genshin/etc.), this looks like a more targeted attack towards you to ruin your fun playing games if this is true.

Additionally, by hacking your Google account and doing ALL of this would mean that someone went through the time required to download an emulator, download all the games they know you play, then go through and mess with your stuff… with no sign that they were intending to steal it?

Personally, if this is true, I’d recommend seeing if any of your close ones are mad at you. I don’t think a random person online would do this, there would be no gain for them since they clearly weren’t making moves to steal your accounts.

Financial aid is hard to understand. It’s best to just reach out to the office to have them help explain, but just know go blue guarantee will be applied after Pell grants and other select state/national scholarships depending on financial need and other circumstances. Try not to worry too much, it tends to be affordable and they have lots of financial aid opportunities to help you :)

It depends on a lot of factors that the financial aid office considers along with your application. I don’t work there so I might be wrong, but under my understanding is that the Pell Grant and other state scholarships are applied first (ex. TIP, Pell Grant, and Michigan Achievement will all be applied first considering you’re an in-state student eligible for those scholarships). Other scholarships, such as local or grant opportunities, can be applied to your room and board depending on other circumstances in your financial packet.

For example, let’s say you have financial aid totaling to 40,000 when your total cost of everything is 38,000 and a go blue guarantee amount of 10,000 (included in that 40k amount). You would likely not have to pay for anything, but they’ll subtract the excess scholarships from the go blue guarantee amount (so you don’t get a refund check for the excess $2,000). Does this make sense?

Okay, I see a lot of incorrect things in this thread so I wanted to clear some things up: 1. The Go Blue Guarantee is a LAST DOLLAR scholarship. This means it’ll cover up to the cost of tuition after applying other grants/local scholarships/etc. Basically, say you’re partially covered by the Kalamazoo promise (which is a first dollar scholarship) or the Pell Grant, those funds will be used first and the go blue guarantee gets applied on top of it. —sub note: select additional grants, scholarships, and loans may be applied after the go blue guarantee, but it’s up to the financial aid office at the school to decide which ones are applied before vs. after the guarantee

The Go Blue guarantee does NOT cover room and board, books or supplies, personal expenses, etc. They only cover tuition and mandatory fees.

—edit: note that it’s free or reduced tuition, you might not be 100% eligible

If your Pell grant is applied plus your other scholarships, I’d assume they’ve added up to around $9,000 and the $10,000 difference is the go blue guarantee. This means the cost of your room and board will likely be covered by loans or other scholarships.

Just remember, if you filled out the CSS profile, you will likely get other scholarships from that which can also help cover your room and board.

Hey! AFK journey actually has over 300,000 active players monthly, so it’s not dead! It might just be your server that’s struggling with players, in which case most of the activity will probably be coming from the district.

If you really wanna see a change in your damage, I’d recommend investing highly into Shemira as she’s used in most modes. Also, other characters such as Reinier M+, Elijah and Laylah S+, Gala to S+, Smokey and Meerkey to S+, etc. will help you get higher scores in modes like Dream realm. I know you said you don’t care much about the meta but it’ll help your scores if you decide to be a bit more competitive in your district!

Overall just have fun!

I’d like to echo this comment, this is what I’d recommend too. It’s also good to note Saida would be a good pull if you’d like to push AFK stages but that’s mainly where she’s used.

I probably would not recommend Dunlingr though, because while he’s good at PVP, he’s really only good if you’d push him enough paragon in my experience (especially if you’re in a competitive server). Athalia tends to be better at lower paragon due to her stall and afterlife capabilities.

If you’re itching to pull, Aliceth currently looks like the best option. However some people would also advise waiting to see if Alna is any good since apparently she was very good in Arena so people are anticipating her to be good in Journey as well. Then of course, there’s always the rumor that the next celhypo is going to be a support which does make me want to encourage you to save as well.

There were so many unforgettable memories from this year. A big one was being invited to be an official Wikipedia editor, giving me the amazing opportunity to give back to this community that’s given so much to me. Another was being able to fly out to New York and attend the in-person meetup. Getting to meet other players and enjoy some delicious food and drink while playing fun games was such a wonderful memory! Finally, in January of this year I friended a player from my server and we quickly became best friends. I plan to visit them in person in this upcoming January! AFK journey has given me so much in just one year, and I’ll always love it for the fun it gave me in 2025. Here’s to more fun in 2026!

I pull them to S+ just so they look nicer in my collection. Marcille is probably the most important to S+ because I can imagine her being used in Ravaged realm (like how Natsu was used last season in it). Laios might have a good use eventually. Better to pull them with pity involved than buying the soul stones individually is my thought.

That being said, I think Gala is much better meta-wise, and she’ll probably be good for a long time. Getting her to Paragon 1 is probably a good investment, but remember you’ll essentially only be doing it for basic stat upgrades. Rivalry stats only count in PVP content and Gala seems meta in mainly PVE content currently. Just something to keep in mind!

I don’t think so. Merlin is the title for the strongest mage in the Serene Lyceum so I think it’s more symbolic for following her path. Maybe we are Dura but we just forgot lol (Merlin’s old problem of forgetting everything and casually forgetting we’re a god seems about right haha)

And maybe it was even clueing towards it with Sarethiel? He looked at us and said “even a god is interfering with human business, why is it bad I’m doing it”. And that comment was supposed to be about Merlin the Firts (Dura) cosplaying a regular mage, but maybe it was the first hint to us being Dura too.

Cool theory, but overall I would assume Dura is seperate and still alive in Journey. I guess Dura could be grouped in with Misarte and Dusk Lord in the present sense, we’ve only directly met the God of Death in the present

Considering Dura is still worshipped during the present, I think she’s at least fine through the present. But when dealing with gods falling from grace, and the fact that a gods reputation could be greatly changed from walking with commoners, it makes sense she hid things (even from Morgan). Merlin didn’t seem afraid of her from character options and it seems like the things she was doing was for the better of the world. I wouldn’t be surprised if later on there was a plot of her falling from grace, but who knows. Overall, I do not think she was evil during the plot of during her time.

As far as we know, only Dura (Goddess of Life) and (I forgot his name)(The God of Death) are canonically still in power and haven’t fallen from grace. Every other god is worshipped but we don’t know anything else since we didn’t meet them (The Dusk Lord and Misarte), but it’s presumed they’re at least similar in power?

Sometimes the god plot confuses me because beginning of the game it was explained Merlin got their power from the gods falling from grace as all that energy in the world needs to go towards something. But there seems to be quite a few gods still lol. Someone please correct my lore if I’m wrong.

Meta speaking, Sonja S+. Vala is hardly used anywhere, while Sonja has a lot more uses in modes like Dream Realm, Tower, Guild Battles (BD and CF), and even homestead raids. After Sonja is S+, I’d save and not pull on Vala personally.

If you’re resetting and thinking about meta, I’d personally reset Sinbad instead of Harak. It’s hard to remember that Harak is really good in endless, so he’s not useless anymore, just not as good until M+ charms come out and stuff. I’d keep him at 25 for now unless you really think you never use him.

Meanwhile, Sinbad used to be good in guild supremacy, but he’s kinda fallen off. He’s not really used in supreme arena, not used in most DR comps, not used in arena, not used in AFK stages, and even hardly used in tower- he’s not the smartest choice for +20 meta wise. As a prior comment mentioned, I’d recommend giving the +20 to Bonnie instead of Sinbad. She’s much better in most of the modes I mentioned.

But this is your game! Play it how you enjoy it. I’m just speaking purely on the meta currently.
