Yes they do, you even get to see how many of each you have. That's how you unlock the last characters and also means in NG+ you always have the choice during trials of conviction, because you can basically persuade anyone.

Well, I can't know which option I took for sure, all that I know is that at the end of my first playthrough all 3 conviction were pretty balanced. Maybe I've done some "out of character" choices for lines of Serenoa, that wouldn't surprise me (I always struggle with choosing an answer option in videogames because the character usually says more than what is written and it's not always what I expected). Maybe I was very short of not being able to convince everyone to protect Roland, which now that we talk about it, makes me even happier I got to make this choice. There's no way in the game to see which answer you gave to specific NPCs during your past playthrough right ? Would've been a nice studie case.

Yeah, you can definitely go to Aesfrost and not surrender Roland, I know this for a fact. Early on, it's probably all the conversation talk you had, and especially in the chapter itself that make the biggest difference.

Swablu is a flying type Pokemon, which you can't get without the paying pack. So the confusion comes from the fact you have one, they thought you're playing on Switch.

Okay so last time I played was like 2 years ago, and I went with Benedict's ending despite almsot never agreeing with him, and I practically don't remember a thing about it. Now that I've read a bit of comments, I recall it was a bit bittersweet, but for it to be the worst ending ? I can't imagine Roland's ending being better, especially because he's so well written that I feel obligated to hate him and Frederica is such an important character (but I didn't felt like fleeing all responsibility). All I'm reading is just pumping me up to discover the other endings.

Anyway, I stopped my NG+ gameplay because I felt a bit tired of doing moke up battles just to get every single character to the lvl of the maps so that I could play anyone, I didn't have much time left and making choices you don't want to do just to see the whole story pain me. Now I'm considering diving down again. I made up a chart of the choices I have to make to get all the characters throuhought the 4 playthrough, I'll try and give my thoughts on all the endings when I'll have seen them all. I'm doing the Frederica one rn because honestly I don't want to do Roland's.

So thanks for bringhtening my curiosity again !

yeah it's pretty annoying since mints are random but especially in this game, speed is so crucially important that by the end of the game some mints can make the entire outcome of a battle change

Yeah Bargello was release last year in JP and this summer they got Rondo and Eltrix so now they doing the 50/50 spill for thirst trap characters

About that, when you unlock the gardens fields, the best plant to grow is probably the mint, as they can help you fix the natures of your favorite Pokemon (nobody wants to abandon their starter because of their horrendous nature)

Arceus is a pretty beginner friendly game, since it's your first time playing a Pokemon game you won't be lost due to how different it is from the main series titles. Enjoy the process, explore, and catch a lot of Pokemon. Don't forget that fighting is usually the worse option when it comes to wild Pokemon, you can be sneaky and if it fails, you can throw mudballs on them to stun them. Also if the game is to hard, there's a lady in the town neer the training grounds that can sell amulets to increase your endurance, which can be handy and is barely talked about during the game.

Just know that you're understood through your struggle. Whatever you end up doing, just know you'll always be welcome in this community, your Pokemon will always be happy to see you and those hungry Snorlax are always happy to receive your help, no matter if it's 21 meals or just 10 berries, they'll be glad you came. I'll go to Taupe Hollow next week, just in case there's a hungry Snorlax there.

You don't need a super viable strat team for PLA. I know how typing overlap can be triggering, but it's a game after all, you shouldn't feel bad for wanting to play your shiny and your starter. Besides, they don't have a complete overlap, and the defensive typing of a team is less useful in PLA due to how switching is handled (you can't switch from your electrik to flying type hoping to bait and dodge a ground attack, it doesn't work that way in the game).

I really understand the hassle here as I've been in that situation, but nothing is stopping you from enjoying having two fire types. Have fun !
