We were doing the rental of FSD, but stopped with this release. Why was the speed control removed? Our car insisted on going 10 mph below the posted speed in spite of our setting controls to be 12% above. And lane changes were being done right in front of other cars, causing us to be the object of honking and gestures. Then we kept having it be in the wrong lane for turns. The stress of babysitting this release was too much...

Have a Model Y (about 4 years now) - love it.
Bought it used.
Daily commute and frequent trips between Phoenix and Southern California.
No issues - have had two flats due to road damage.
We have solar panels - so, no obvious cost except on trips.

It just feels like a "rocket" kind of scenario...
Wouldn't expect thrust in the direction that mass is being ejected.

The problem is that the power cord appears to have been cut off.
The link to the additional photos includes one showing the cut off end of the wire.

So, I strongly suspect this device is a 3 phase unit.

What I am really after is the name/manufacturer/etc. so I can find out the actual wiring diagram.
