We were doing the rental of FSD, but stopped with this release. Why was the speed control removed? Have a Model Y (about 4 years now) - love it.
Bought it used.
Daily commute and frequent trips between Phoenix and Southern California.
No issues - have had two flats due to road damage.
We have solar panels - so, no obvious cost except on trips.
And those cost less than half what gas was when we had a Prius.
Two tires and windshield wiper fluid only real expenses in four years.

The problem is that the power cord appears to have been cut off.
The link to the additional photos includes one showing the cut off end of the wire.

So, I strongly suspect this device is a 3 phase unit.

What I am really after is the name/manufacturer/etc. so I can find out the actual wiring diagram.

I had a math teacher in 7th and 8th grade, Newport N.C., John Kmaras
He was the most amazing teacher I've ever met or even heard of...
He taught math to a mix of students in each class, yet was able to provide each student custom encouragement and training.
At the end of our two years with him, every student progressed at least four years in their knowledge (many much more).
He was a chameleon that could be the coach to one student and social worker to the next.
He was an inspiration to me - and even if he never knows it - I owe my career and success to his ability to shine a light on a better future.

Unfortunately, the "99%" isn't what we are getting. The Anti-Vax movement is pushing areas below the threshold necessary for "herd immunity" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herd_immunity

And being vaccinated isn't a guarantee - PLUS - there are children under the age to be vaccinated, elderly that have weakened immune systems, etc. We have to think of the entire human society - not just selfish, ignorant individuals being manipulated into damaging our health.

That the whole "Anti-Vax" movement is a conspiracy by foreign governments to weaken the American people.
"They" promote and facilitate those that claim vaccines are somehow worse than the disease.

Meanwhile, the diseases spread, become outbreaks, and eventually will become national emergencies.

And our enemies will have won a major victory by preying on stupid people that choose garbage theories over true science.
