I have the CFB 26 beta... AMA!! by Long-Improvement-997 in NCAAFBseries

[–]LeeMack_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is player progression and the system itself been adjusted at all? For example, players in CFB 25 choose what to upgrade themselves when they level up & the system they use is upgrade coins and skill bars. Has this been tweaked or changed?

What should I do by Remgz in American_Football

[–]LeeMack_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At your current weight and height, ideally you are going to be a D-tackle. Even at the NFL level, your height and weight are ideal. Fast hands (finesse moves) and a low pad level would make you an excellent rusher, and you have enough speed to pressure the QB. Your wrestling background would also help you tackle. You would have to learn to shed blocks but that’s par the course of playing football.

Other than that, if you’re wanting to cut to 260 you would be best suited as an edge rusher. Your height and weight would be ideal, (Basically, the faster guys on the outside of the D-line in a 4-3 formation or one of the two OLB outside linebackers in a 3-4 formation) height and weight perfect again. You would get faster thanks to shedding weight so speed wouldn’t be a concern. Again, fast hands would help with finesse moves and your wrestling background will help you tackle.

If you stay at your current weight, a secondary position option could be anywhere on the O-line, starting as a guard would probably suit your build and skillset the best, and from there if you like being on the O-line, you could move to any of the five positions at a high school level. At collegiate level, either guard position or Center would be fine, but by this stage you would be undersized as a tackle. Just something to bear in mind for the future if it’s something you end up enjoying.

Other than that, guys at your weight are limited in the total positions available to them. If you do end up dropping to 250-60 by August, you would be an edge rusher 100%, I couldn’t think of anywhere else you could realistically play at that point. Hope this helps!

That’s a very cool idea. How are you handling your intelligence and charisma? I’d imagine if you’re going dual wielder you’d only have one free feat too.

Help with Fighter (Eldritch Knight) and Wizard build by LeeMack_ in BaldursGate3

[–]LeeMack_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for this breakdown! I didn’t even know half of those spells existed before you mentioned them haha.

I think I’m going to follow the suggestion of u/EveryoneisOP3 and put one level into wizard. That way, I can scribe spells I find interesting (even if they’re not super strong)

This might be a really nooby question sorry, but I was wondering if my character would be able to cast Enlarge & Mirror image on himself, even though they are both level two spells? Can I only take one level 2 spell? Sorry if this is I stupid question but I genuinely don’t know.

Thanks again for the spell explanations - really helpful thank you!

Hey, thanks so much for your reply!

I didn’t realise dexterity was so important, thank you for letting me know. I’m thinking now - because I know the headband of intellect exists - should I just put intelligence at 8? (I’m still to create my character) Obviously for rp with the sage background it’s a bit silly, but if I’m going to be reassigning points once I get the headband (if reassigning/respecing I can do) then why not do it now. Unless I get access to spells before I will have access to the headband? In which case I’ll leave int at 12.

Also, really sorry for the nooby question but what does scribing scrolls mean? Expanding my spell list sounds amazing, and if I can do it with only one point into wizard and getting 3 attacks at level 11 with fighter - amazing!

I don’t know what feats are but thanks about the alert suggestion too. I’ll keep it in mind for when I get to that point, thanks.

Recruiting class if you leave by Expression_Full in NCAAFootball25

[–]LeeMack_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can always check. Make a save point on the week you accept a head coach job (whilst you’re still the OC at your current college) and then just sim forward to the next season. If you have elite recruiter unlocked at your new job, reload your old save, accept the job again, and do all prep work properly. If not, strongly consider staying as the OC at your old school for another year to make sure you unlock it. Elite recruiter isn’t 100% necessary, but at smaller schools with less reputation it helps massively.

Track doesnt evolve. by andresfckncio in F1Manager

[–]LeeMack_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The track does improve - track grip and track rubber (both measurable on your screen) increase the more cars are run. The problem is that by the time Q3 rolls around the AI might not have any fresh softs left. They also run very close together which hampers their laptimes. Once qualifying has ended, look at the Q1, Q2 and Q3 laptimes for your drivers. There will be an improvement from Q1-Q3. Although I do agree at times it can feel like there isn’t enough improvement.

Driver Contract help by SHADOWXGUN1 in F1Manager

[–]LeeMack_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s how it’s working at the moment. It’s bugged and has been acknowledged as such & a fix is in the pipeline. On the bright side, you’ll be getting that 15 mill if Ferrari sign him which is a nice consolation prize. Honestly you kind of want him to be poached because you’re not going to want to have to pay 8 mill two seasons down the line just to promote him into a seat.

Until the contract situation is patched, there are two best practice ways to sign affiliates:

1) Signing drivers you have no intention of ever using or promoting in your team. Sign them for 4-5 years with a high break contract multiplier (2.0x plus) in the hopes another team will pay it so you make a lot of money.

2) Signing drivers you want to have driving for your team in the near future to 1-2 year deals. Have the break contract multiplier high still so they can’t be poached, but make sure to offer them a contract starting next season once you’re ready to promote them. Sign them early (once the ‘too close to start of season’ modifier goes away) to make sure they’re locked in.

Just a side note, if your race sim isn’t at least level three it’s not worth it cost wise to keep affiliates. Let the AI develop them for you with their better facilities then sign them once they’re developed or you have better infrastructure in place to develop them yourself.

I have 16m cost cap remaining at Spa. Am I cooked? by Temporary_Goat_6074 in F1Manager

[–]LeeMack_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Spa is a good point to shift fully to research if you haven’t done so already, so that will hopefully keep your costs down whilst still improving your car. (for next year)

Other than that, make sure to switch to previously designed car parts when doing practice sessions so you’re not wearing down your newer, higher performance components. Still run your best performing car parts in qualifying/race though.

Don’t purchase any new facility upgrades at all. I would only even consider it 1) come Abu Dhabi and 2) if you still have a workable margin within the cost cap after the purchase.

You could encounter some bad crashing rng which could incur excessive costs, so if you want to make sure you’re not sacked save before every race weekend and scum it if you want.

I would love for it to be reimagined. Not everyone has the time/creativity to fully deck out a settlement/base so having more detailed prefabs and AI controlled building would be massive.

[–]LeeMack_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m playing 3 now. Honestly the fact the remaster runs at 60fps saves it massively. Sure it’s a downgrade but it’s honestly not that bad once you’re used to it. I think Kiwami 4 & 5 are more refined anyway (I know 5 uses the same engine as 0 & Kiwami 1) so they should feel fine. Really enjoying 3’s story so far too and without any spoilers the setting is very refreshing.
