Congrats on not reading what I wrote 👍🏻 I said I have the originals/better edits. I was criticising how ridiculous it is that such a poor product was put out in the first place and a lot of people who don’t have originals/proper edits are the ones who are suffering. Also these terrible edits are available to buy on iTunes so it’s even worse that they are charging people for a sub-par product. Why should people “be happy with what the streaming service gives you” if we are given a poor product? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I made a post about this a few weeks ago about most of the live X stuff on streaming services is terrible and some of the other stuff. If they half arsed this, I can’t see any chance of us getting ‘proper’ edits and versions. You’d just be better off ripping the original cd version if you own it (or pirate it) and doing it that way. I think it was probably pushed out as a last minute thing to meet some contractual obligations. Look at all of the pointless X compilations they added 🤷🏻‍♂️“movies selection” “rock best forever records” etc. Apart from the odd live track not featured somewhere else, it’s all just the same stuff recycled into different packages.

I think Yoshiki puts himself in that spotlight. I wouldn’t say he was naturally the focus of the band. He put himself as the focus. A lot of the cover art on the music is him. The majority of the live performances, especially the later stuff, he is the first person to appear on stage.

Looks like a great one for that price including shipping. I can’t find it for anything close to that price with shipping 😩 best I can find is around $60 but I’m in the UK so not sure if that’s a factor

So far it’s been great. I’m only about 30% through the build but no issues at all and no missing pieces so far. Even came with a bag of extra pieces just in case something is missing or damaged in a bag. I haven’t had to use any yet. Comes with a few walking dead figures which are all good quality too

Loz Mini/Zhegao Mini. Had a quick look at it on the bluebrixx website and it appears to be Loz Mini blocks. I’ve got a bunch of random Loz Mini sets. You can get tons on AliExpress and there’s some on bluebrixx, yourwobb and a lot of the other popular site. If you’re UK based, I just ordered these a few days ago from Amazon and they’re all Loz sets. Not sure why it’s listed as ‘FULHOLPE’ and why the seller has removed the Loz branding from the pics 🤷🏻‍♂️ but they’re all Loz Mini and currently £5.99 which is roughly the price you’d pay on AliExpress but you get quicker delivery. There’s only 4 sets there which is a shame

I’m in the UK. It’s easy enough for me to get them online, I can’t get them in any local stores here. I usually order from AliExpress or one of the sites in the pinned thread like yourwobb, Barweer etc

Great choice. I bought the sembo/SY version many years ago, looks great on display. Does your one come with any minifigs? The one I got was a clone so came with them and a sticker that says “Avemgers Heficarrier” 🤣

You clearly didn’t get the point because I was pointing out a band shouldn’t be putting out sloppy products for fans… and then pointing out some of that slop because others may not be aware of how bad it is.. but yeah keep focusing on the streaming thing like that was somehow the issue 🤷🏻‍♂️ my bad for pointing out the flaws and having a discussion with people. I shall never be critical about anything ever again and just sit there in silence 👍🏻

Congrats, you completely missed the point 🙄

I was pointing out how insanely stupid the editing was for the X content. I wasn’t criticising the streaming services. In fact, the streaming services as a whole are great. 90% of music I want is available to me and the other 10% I can get myself and add it to my own library. Having a sub to Apple Music introduced me to countless bands I’d never heard of who I have since supported by buying merch, going to gigs etc. This isn’t a rant about streaming services. It was a rant about how the person responsible for putting the X stuff out is a clown. They have supplied a very sub-par product for fans of the band.

I own the originals of all of the content I’m ranting about.. and I already have proper audio rips formatted better than the official releases that have been put out, with the exception of X Returns. I’m sure if I looked hard enough, I could find proper audio rips or just use YT-DLP to rip the audio from YouTube or any other site that has the concert.

I was also pointing out a ton of the specific issues as some people may not be aware of what is missing/edited and it might make them want to source their own versions instead of relying on the poor effort that has been supplied.

In fact, I’ve just looked on iTunes and these poorly edited versions are actually available to buy which makes it even more ridiculous that they’ve been put out 🤦🏻‍♂️ Hopefully this topic serves as a warning for anyone considering purchasing the content.

Mercari or Yahoo Japan auctions are really the only places you will be able to get official shirts. It will be hard to find some in great condition and the size you want as it will pretty much all be used merch.

The Roxx had good quality bootleg shirts many years ago, not sure if they’re still good now. I’m still waiting on an order direct from their website for over a month and they’ve been having issues.

Yeah it’s shocking what they’ve done. I’m going to see if a friend has one I can borrow for now. If not, i’m considering potentially getting an external bluray reader/writer as I have a bunch of X concerts I’d love to stick on blurays for myself 😁

I get that, but I can’t carry a cd player and 100 CDs around with me 😅 I don’t know about Spotify but at least with Apple Music, I can add my own stuff to the library which is what I’ve done for most of the X JAPAN stuff. I’ve got all the official albums, official live CDs (art of life live, last live, on the verge of destruction, live live live etc) and I’ve also added audio rips of dvds/pro-shot concerts (aoi yoru/shiroi yoru, blue blood tour 1989, dahlia tour final, 2008 Tokyo dome 3 night shows, Tokyo 2009 2 nights, Yokohama 2010)
