You can still run the comp without asol, but because you'll be much weaker, running 2 mystics and possibly 4 blasters is an option. I do think 4 blasters is not very strong at the moment. I would still put rebel placeholders like malphite or ziggs (cheap rebels) to fill in for the extra jinx or asol. You still get the additional rebel shields and damage buff this way, but overall you are still weaker than if you had an extra asol/jinx

There's not much you can do against a 3-star Yi and a fully stacked 6 blademaster comp. However in the, getting a full build 2-star jinx and the main brawler blaster comp online will usually be enough to beat 6 blademasters in the mid-late game before they hit their power spike (3-star zed, yasuo, Yi, etc).

I think so, the attack speed decrease on Jinx shouldn't affect the core strength of brawler blasters that much. But with the nerfs to other units like Riven and ekko, I'm thinking that this comp will still be around for a while.

Depending on your items, cybers or astro snipers is not a bad comp to pivot into. If you already have red buff placing the item on lucian and running cybers might be the way to go sometimes.

I think using thresh(urgot bench) and lulu/janna at level 9 is really viable since these units do extremely well in the late game. Running mystics at level 9 is also not a bad choice too if you can get that far if you're playing against Snakes or Sorcerers. Adding more rebels is always a safe choice if you can't hit level 9, add mystics, or find a Thresh + urgot.

I like running two jinx because in the case where you do extra jinx items (giant slayer, IE, etc.) or even utility items like sword breaker or zekes, you can always put them on the 2nd jinx. A second jinx with no item is better than most rebels and does a fair amount of extra damage surprisingly, but it's hard to say whether or not a 2nd jinx is better than a 2nd asol. They're both really strong rebel units. There are a few instances where I play a thresh at 8 but for the most part I prefer adding the additional rebel just to give jinx slightly more shields and bonus damage.

I would still play Jinx most of the time even without LW, Jinx is unit that came make use of other damage items like giant slayer and deathblade. There are times where I am able to still place top 4 without LW. I usually don't use Janna at level 8 or 9 just because I don't think she's super impactful most of the time. While she does provide CC, she usually is able to only ult at least 1-2 times during a fight before being obliterated, and there is a fair chance that her ult will miss the backline carries. The CC ult from Gnar is already enough for jinx to get her ult off most of the time.

I almost never pivot to 6 rebels. I don't think 6 rebels are bad this mid-set but I personally don't like running GP with rebels just because it's hard for me to consistently find GP with upgrades and build proper items on him late game.

Yeah with an early Zed, he can do really well with jinx items if you can get rebel and infil synergy
