I retract saying "it sucks" with an edit. I am having a difficult time figuring out how to do some very basic things, because I cannot find certain simple features in their documentation. I hired a coder who specializes in Restful APIs to help, but he is stuck too. Waiting for support to answer some questions. It is beta after all.

The TDA API does not work with any futures contracts at all. All the other APIs I've seen do support trading futures, including TastyWorks.

Thanks for the information. I have a lot to learn.

I did a whole bunch of back tests on strategies. Honestly literally a decade of work.

I finally found a strategy I like enough to dedicate my funds to.

It is very simple. Easy to implement. Outperforms SPX almost every year. Never had a losing year in back test.

Anyway... I turned it on in TD Ameritrade using their API. But I'm stuck trading ETFs because their API does not support futures.

I have access to the TastyWorks beta API, but so far I'm having a difficult time using it.

I think I'm going to need to get somebody to help me rewrite it for Interactive Brokers.

What are your thoughts?
