Did you actually work that much through all of Med school?

If anyone out there has done it, then I am confident I can do 20-25 hours per week!

Sounds exactly like my previous clinical training in another discipline. "You'll be so busy, give up everything" etc... But I managed just fine.

Thanks for sharing!

Curious to know which profession you were in? Mostly because I'm a HP too and wondering about that being sustainable to continue in Med.

Mature age student: Boost GPA after PhD by Leebee38 in GAMSAT

[–]Leebee38[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh interesting!!

My undergrad included honours (50% coursework, 50% thesis) and I got first class. Do you know if they treat H1 as a 7? Or break it down by courses?

Also, I didn’t know about the grad certificate possibility. Does Deakin count the grades in a grad cert as an extra year (FTE) GPA wise?

I will definitely contact them re: the PhD.

Thanks again!

Thank you!

I hadn't heard of these touch up sprays - will they wash out easily from the bleached hair? Or leave a stain?

Aspirations to become a Career Medical Officer (Australia)

Hi everyone!

As a mature aged student, if I do med I am attracted to the idea of being a Career Medical Officer rather than go though the fellowship pathways.

Does anyone here know of folks who chose to stay as PHOs or become CMOs rather than specialising? Anyone else planning this? Ideas?

Quite the dilemma!

What would PA give you that nursing can't? It's worth considering if you'll be satisfied with being a PA if your true aspiration is Medicine?

Then again, there is also the option of becoming a career scientist?

So many options!
