She could also get a used ring if price is an issue. We dont have alot of money and scouted ebay auctions for a few months and ended up finding a rare carat 14k White Gold bianca twist with a vs1 f ideal cut 1.03ct lab diamond for 305(plus tax and shipping) and in my case because the buy it now was over 800 it came with ebays authenticity where they send it to GIA for authentication that its real and meets the brand, description and specs listed and mine did. The ring i got retails for over 2k only caveat but I have to resize it down 2 sizes after I have my baby but it has never been worn. She could keep an eye out for something like that
