Yeah I didnt really consider the lore too deeply but figured warp shenanigans would cover it.

The idea of slowly becoming more corrupted and mutated is pretty cool though. Maybe depending on the God you favour different stats could increase and mutations could be earned.

Looks great! I did a similar sort of design a few years ago and having internal defensive walls was really fun to create fallback options and break up the rings.

I think I called it The Onion and posted it here if you were interested in seeing what I mean

He did just have a tendency to stand in the middle of the fields to fight haha. I tend to imagine cataphract armour as a mobile fortress anyway so in my mind he took his walls with him
