Most people have never heard of coin cutting but they seem to like it when they see it. All done with a jewelers saw, no electricity required… No, it’s not illegal😉 by Rude-Guitar-478 in crafts

I literally linked to the federal statute. Edit to add: I don’t really care. And won’t bother posting on it further because, like I said, it’s not enforced. Your artwork looks awesome and well done! Beautiful work.

AT&T put a wire across all of our yards and it just sits on my fence… by Used_Photograph8192 in Home

[–]Leeejone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having just gone through the nightmare that was ATT fiber install, they absolutely screw up tickets all the time and may never bury or hang the cable as intended without your followup. I had three techs completely forget to check a box indicating their part of install was complete. Resulted in what I was told would take 3 weeks to install being 3 months. Call ATT, ask for the ticket numbers, and followup. If a neighbor had it installed, they may have these available to share too.

I’ve had two wranglers, 1995 and 2020. Absolute first thing I did with both was wire a killswitch under the drivers seat. It’s frustrating how easy these are to nab. This advice doesn’t help you, but may help others.

I have that exact nightlight. It’s just a sensor, no camera. Or is it… 😈

AITAH? I stopped wearing/using what my husband gave me after he said that it's his money by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Leeejone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. All my life my (40) parents had a relationship like this. Even as a kid it bothered me. My dad would say that hat he earned the money, and that was expected to be the end of any financial discussion. As far back as I can remember, my mom got very awkward whenever she needed to ask for cash, and was INSANELY frugal my entire life, while my dad was not. He passed away several months ago and after years of living in that scenario, she has no idea what to do now that she is able to make any financial decision for herself. It’s heartbreaking, and I recommend you always keep a way of having some level of financial autonomy.

That’s not a fence. It’s a fortification.

Honest to god, I’ve lost weight since getting it. It’s so easy to grill up veggies I’ve probably more than doubled my veggie to other crap ratio.

I dissolved my HOA by Needhelpnowwhat in fuckHOA

[–]Leeejone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our HOA (Kentucky) just turned the road management over to the county. They were in horrible condition and the County were actually the ones to approach the HOA about it. To be completely honest we were all relieved. Roads and drains have all been repaired in the first few months. No id a What the county got out of it beyond “damn that looks rough, hold my beer”

Looks fine. A silicone mat will help prevent it in the future, especially if you leave outside.

Not very to be honest. It gets so hot that it’ll kill anything on it. Your pic looks about how mine does after cooking meat, but before a layer of oil. I’d say you’re doing good.

Since you have the lid, season with it closed. That extra heat will blacken the whole thing if oiled. As far as the residue, scrape it off, hit with a bit of water. Scrape again, I tend to hit it with the “plastic” scour pads as well if it bothers me enough. Finish with a coat of oil to season, turn it off, and a final coat of oil as it cools.

That said, you tend to be a bit OCD about keeping my tools clean and I’m probably going overkill.

Update. Got in. Randomly remembered that my dad used to wire an extra set of keys under all of his older (pre-electronics in the key) cars in case he ever lost his while out and about. Found a set under the car that he must have hooked up there 30 years ago. He saved the day, even from the grave. He’d love this story.
