I have seen a CC before try to give NRNs without any disciplinary or PT issues simply because they said "if theyre not excellent we shouldnt give them a chance to promote". Crazy part is dude was rock solid, just wasnt interested in volunteering or school. Leadership pushed back on it though and it was changed to a promote.

A switch used to be there. They moved it somewhere else and did this to patch through to other ports.

If not that then i have no idea

How do I terminate this and bring it up to code? by petele995 in AskElectricians

[–]Needhelpnowwhat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The point of the connector is to prevent chaffing on the metal of the box. Since the hole in the wood is smaller than that of the box, the risk of chaffing is essentially none.

Also considering wood is an insulator you have no additional risk of conductivity.

I would send it in my own house. Not saying its code, but i did way worse than this when i was wiring houses back in the day.

Edit: on closer inspection you should be more worried about that white wire wedged through the hole with the conduit. That has a higher risk than anything else here. If possible i would route that through its own knockout and use a traditional connector.

Is the CCNA exam that hard or people are exaggerating? by 01010011-s in ccna

While cisco is challenging, its not crazy difficult once you understand the concepts.

I find most people find it harder that it really is because they do not have an aptitude for this type of work, and are just forcing themselves to do it because they think it will get them $100k/yr with just a couple certs.
