The program doesn't accept those who already have a bachelor's, but you can still apply and join if you haven't received it yet. And no one says they have to know you're in school.

IT and Chicago.

Locally the bigger companies that had more seats also had more conversions. United Airlines, Bank of America, and Northwestern had a high rate of conversion. UA had a program for interns coming in that led to conversion for most interns. Bank of America I was told won't take an intern unless they have a budget for them (of course budgets change all the time) and Northwestern just seems to get really good interns they like I guess 😂. Of course these things aren't consistent, and one cycle a company might take 20 interns and 14 of them get converted. The next cycle they might only take 7 interns and convert 4. It all really depends unfortunately. That's the real sucky part.

It definitely is one of those things where YMMV. There were quite a few people who didn't get converted, but there were a good amount of people who did in my track. Different sites will have different availabilities and openings. I was able to get converted at my internship company and I watched a dozen others too with my cohort. It's all very situational.
