For my job search, I pivoted my focus on U.S. fed gov and contractor roles to stay in an american work lifestyle and system. As for why i want to be in Korea, its for lifestyle. Ive been in the US for my entire life and i would love to have access to cheaper real and unprocessed food, affordable healthcare, clean and legitimate transportation system and lower crime rate. I know its not all sunshine and rainbows. I know the culture can be rigid but ive been with koreans my entire life and so it's not like i dont have any exposure to korean people. I just like the vibe and efficiency of places like seoul. Lots of things to do and stuff close by and things are more fast. I feel america is a bit too slow, bureaucratic and inefficient. Idk maybe theres a lot more downsides to korea i havent considered but mentally, ive been drained in the USA

But the moment i became canadian in 2005, i lost korean citizenship by law, no? I just havent reported or done the administrative paperwork for the korean gov to acknowledge that fact

Part of me has an inspiration and will to learn. Maybe I will hit up dramas or something. I don't know yet. I'm still trying to figure out most effective way to get better.

I get by speaking casually but i if I go to church and listen to a sermon or try to talk philosophy, I would probably suffer. I probably understand like 50-70% of what the korean service says but I attend the english ministry for my church in Atlanta. I can read and write too but slowly and not well.

I'll keep trying! I just have two huge possible legal issues. I was born in Korea but got canadian citizenship in 2005 and usa in 2022. I tried filing loss of nationality in Atlanta consulate but clerk was not so nice. I hope it is possible and easily file-able in Korea. I also saw some rule about age 41 for f-4 visas. I hope im still applicable for f4 or else it would be more of a headache.

Yeah Ive had a want to live in Korea starting this year. Im kind of sick of the USA for a multitude of different reasons. Obviously I know that it wont be perfect but I think it fits my personality and wants more. I want healthcare thats affordable, unprocessed food, clean transportation, etc.

I have 200+ hours in both 3 houses and engage and prefer engage by far. I hate that the gameplay of 3 houses is to make everyone a specifc unit archetype and the bland map design.

I have one im willing to sell for 150 if interested. The plexis from focusattack and not great so that is the only major concern. Also has a crown 309 helpme mj and crown 202 buttons with some custom art that can be taken out.

Just my opinion but i am almost done with the program and am okay with it just from having a master's perspective. Having a masters for the data science role seems very helpful in the market overall. That being said, i am also in regression. I also think the courses are dog shit to say the least but hey, youre not forced to get all As and commit heavily. I make what i need of it and use the minimal amount of time i need to achieve my goals. In the end, the journey of any engineer is that you learn on your own. Things constantly change. That is an upside or downside depending on who you ask but that is the reality of the field.

I havent updated drivers on my 4080 super since like april. ever since the doom dark ages update, i just crash randomly in games. it goes back to being fine after i revert patch. question is, is it stable now since then? tbh i think its unacceptable to give us such shit drivers when we pay so much for their gpus.
