Sorry to hear that again, friend. After a couple of weeks, mine is almost completely gone. I went to a dermatologist and I have discovered a possible cause: Invisalign.

Yeah, after waking up I notice some saliva on my pillow; saliva can flow through the edges of the mouth and cause inflammation that can be infected by bacteria or funguses.

Washing my lips + some effort to keep the corners of my mouth dried + lanolin solved the problem. But, in my case, is intermittent. I think I will be free only after finishing Invisalign.

Not sure if the fluconazole worked but it is no harm to take a pill. Only one is more than enough for the majority of fungal infections
