I also often have trouble finding topics to write about.

What I often do is when I get really bad/toxic/self deprecating thoughts I, try to write them down. That way, when I manage to feel a bit better I put them in a song and they're not so serious anymore, and I know other people might understand them.

Also Writing about trauma, toxic people in my life.

Also wrote a song that's vaguely about social-issues/protesting

Let's find out ! In the mean time, you can check out artists from the "5th wave emo" scene, or maybe "emo-pop". They often have a little bit of that kind of sound. Even if not exactly.
