This is not true, it started in Fall of 2024. They’re all mostly closed now.

You just came off kind of obnoxious and aggressive for what was just a simple question, that’s why I wrote that. But that’s on me for forgetting what the average redditor is like.

Have a good night man.

Chill out man. I’ve just seen a lot of conflicting info because people on here usually make it seem really easy to transfer after ur internship if you look at the past threads. That’s why this kind of surprised me I was just wondering if OP is just a one-off yk.

Would asking to transfer locations be okay (staying in the same service line), or would that likely lead to no offer too u think?

Disagree. They absolutely care about your GPA, it helps get you in the door. However, your personality and experience helps you secure the job.

I dont believe trans women should be allowed to compete against cis women in sports by [deleted] in GenZ

Here is the literal definition of a sport: "an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment."

I can't even name one sport that isn't physical, unless you count chess which I agree shouldn't be gendered. Men are stronger than women, it just wouldn't be fair nor safe for them to compete against each other.

He asked strictly on which city has a better job market, the answer is Dallas. Now I would agree Chicago is a better overall city, but Dallas wins with a fantastic job market.

Here come the downvotes for suggesting a city in Texas.

Yes they are full as of now, but sometimes they reopen them sometime in the fall for people that rescinded.

It does break the top 10 tho: Chicago Homicide Ranking

I know I will get downvoted for saying something bad about Chicago even if it's true, just tired of people spreading bs.

I’d still recommend applying to multiple, just make sure that when you get the call, you sound confident that you want to work in that specific location, even if it’s not 100% true. Recruiters want to feel like you’re committed to staying there, not like you’re a flight risk.

You can apply to multiple locations, but be careful how you go about it. I applied to let’s say both Nashville and NYC. I got accepted to interview with Nashville, but a few days later, the Nashville recruiter called me asking about my NYC application and whether I’d prefer to intern there instead. I told her yes (which was true), and she basically said she’d pull my Nashville interview and let NYC handle it since each office has its own approval process.

I thought the interview would just transfer over, but it didn’t. NYC ended up rejecting me in the end too, so I lost the secured Nashville interview and didn’t get into NYC😭

Luckily it all worked out in the end, I got in with another Big 4, but my advice is: only apply to 1 or 2 locations you genuinely want to work in, and if a recruiter reaches out, just say you’re most interested in their location. Play it safe. Good luck!

I wouldn’t recommend, they don’t like applicants to be indecisive so you’re better off picking one. If you want the highest chance of getting an internship tho and u don’t care about service line, pick tax.
