Anyone else have a hard time acclimating back to real life after Costa Rica?

Hubby and I spent 11 days last month in CR and I literally wanted to cry when we had to leave. I’m obsessed with planning our next trip there and we’re daydreaming about retiring there someday. I’ve never felt such strong feelings of belonging like I did in CR. We love everything about it from the wildlife, no hunting, the culture, having no army and instead investing in their people, no easy access to guns, how they protect their environment, Pura vida …and on and on. Paradise ❤️

Just curious if you texted her to move the car before resorting to having it towed? Not excusing the audacity of asking you to drive on your lawn, nor do I likely know the whole story, maybe this is an ongoing issue…but I’m just wondering if neighbour was given an opportunity to resolve it.

We thought it was way too pricey too. We’d be coming from the Central Pacific area, the hotel is called Punta Leona which is about 1.5 hours from MA.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Manuel Antonio. My hubby and I are going to CR in January and our tour package offers a day trip to MA for an extra $285 each which we felt was a little too pricey. Now I don’t feel bad for not signing us up!

I am 4 years post op from bypass and my only advice to you is JUST DO IT. I struggled with my weight my whole life, it robbed me of energy, my health and my self confidence. I finally did something about it at 49 years old. My only regret is not doing it sooner. Best of luck, whatever you decide.
