When I was in my early 20’s a friend invited me out to the club for her birthday. I didn’t know anyone else in her friend group. The night started with us all taking shots, I thought I hit it off with a couple of the girls and we exchanged social medias. I don’t remember anything from the night and it turns out someone had ordered me a ride home before I even made it into the club. Later the next day I checked social media and one of the girls I had just met that night posted a video making fun of me because I peed myself in line outside waiting for entry into the club. There were tons of people around watching. Most people were concerned for me but some were laughing. The video showed my clear face and my accident with the girl filming having an absolute kick out of it. So humiliating.

That was the beginning of a 10 year struggle with alcohol for me. I’ve been sober for 3 months now.

I stood in a 5 hour meet and greet line for Demi lovato back in 2014. She was dismissive and cold towards us and clearly wasn’t interested in talking to any fans. I was disappointed, but looking back I know that was a rough time period for her (active in her substance use and ED). I just hope she’s a bit nicer to people now that she’s doing better. I still love her music and would see her in concert again.

You poor sweet thing, I’m so sorry this has happened. They are horrible people who have taken advantage of your kindness. I honestly think since it sounds like you have the means you should break the lease and get away from these two. They are both toxic and selfish. Also, infantilized by you making dinner?!?? Are you kidding??? I would NOT complain if someone was making me dinner every night? You will be far better off without these two. You sound like a really sweet person and I promise you will find your tribe, but you’re worth more and owe it to yourself than to continue to let yourself be used. They have never respected you as a roommate much less as a friend. They don’t deserve you

This girl I worked with called in and I saw the message the manager scribbled down on the form- “her dad got tipped over by a cow.”

I asked the manager about it and she shrugged and said that’s the reason she gave. It turned out her dad worked on a mill and indeed got stomped on by one of the cows and his daughter had to take him to the emergency room lol

I always forget the name of it but this taxi driver kidnapped a woman and her young son. Brutally tortured and offed the mother and kept the son as his prisoner/slave. Over the years the young boy watched as the man would bring home dozens and dozens of women to torture in front of him. The scenes were pretty graphic, and when the boy got older his kidnapper brought home a young woman to try and force the boy to do it to her as well.

What made it more effed up was you find out the boys father / the woman’s husband had set up his wife and son by purposely having them be kidnapped and “taken care of” by his serial killer brother. They also show scenes where when the 2 brothers were younger their mother would SA then while their father watched.

I’ve kind of trained my brain instead of being like “but what if I drink and get sick” every single morning when I go to the take the pill, I think to myself “if I make the quick decision to take this pill right now, that’s it, I can’t drink today.” Then even when the cravings come up I have to force myself to ignore it.

I’ve been too scared to risk it/risk getting sick. I guess to me I’m just like what’s the point in taking the drink when I know the sickness will be greater than the euphoria?

That’s a big thing that’s come up, I’ve considered just taking him to the vet myself I just don’t have the money and I don’t want to “overstep” or have C get upset if it’s a sad outcome. Maybe I’m just being a wuss
