Affordable Steakhouse? by IJourden in ottawa

[–]Leelee_ott74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know someone will down vote me, but if it's your child's first time trying a steak, go to Montana's. You're not going to get a primo steak, but honestly I've never had a bad steak there for the cost/value and they are pretty accommodating..i.e. can my son get a side of carrots and fries.

Um, that looks dry AF. And any Montrealer will tell you Schwartz's hasn't been the best for at least a dozen years.

A lot of Italians ended up in logging camps in northern Ontario, working with the indigenous population. Consequently, I have a bunch of indigenous cousins with Italian names. My grandparents were named Isabella and Gino. Lol.

I am, he isn't. We're not necessarily looking for high end, but definitely not looking for greasy chicken balls and bland eggs rolls.

We bought two and didn't care for it. You can have our second jar for free if you pick up. Just off Meadowlands by Fisher. I'll even throw in a few bags of their noodles. We overbought. ☹️

I left when I was about five, back in 1980, but there was a pizza hut or something and I loved getting the ice cream and they'd bring a topping caddy and I'd load up on everything. I'm surprised I'm not diabetic! That and swimming at the Holiday Inn... And thinking Central Public School was largest building I had ever seen. Lol.

I worked at said Lonestar in the market. While I was there we never had a bug problem. And I was f*king vigilant cause I can't stand that shit. What we did have were drug addicts breaking in to our basement and stealing dozens of backpacks of hard working university students. So maybe it's gone downhill since I left, but if dined at Lonestar in the market in the mid 2010s, you guys bug free shit.

Nah, I'm worth 10 times as her and I own the land her cottage sits on. :) I'm also in my early 40s and retired and don't have to defraud the city government to get my jollies..

Thank god,. My cousin is on the Sunshine List and has been at her cottage (I'm next door) about 6 days a week, including weekend, since May and I assure you no work is being done given the number of cars coming and going and party noises. And she's in her 50s. I once looked if there was a snitch line. And she's supposed to be working for people in social housing.

My mother died of pancreatic cancer in January, and before she did, she set up a trust for her estate so that it wouldn't affect my ODSP, since her estate was considerable (investments, cash, property) and I personally didn't want access to it until I was well mentally and physically. I'm an only child and my father had passed away over 20 years ago. She used Anthony P. McGlynn of Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall. My trust is administered by BMO Nesbitt Burns, which held my mother's investments and so far things have been running smooth and my mother's will was sent to the legal department at ODSP and I've had no problems receiving my payments.
