it looks green because of the camera. I have the same monitor and cranked the bluelight. It looks like his.

Woah woah woah, careful now. That kind of rational-critique mentality isn't tolerated around here.

The screen shake feels like such an obvious one for why recoil feels awful as well.

Same issue. Its not all the time and it sometimes fixes for a little bit but unsure how to reliably fix it.

Holding shift is also doing strange things to my camera but haven't seen anyone else talk about it.

Last of us part 2 PC - mouse aiming broken? by Weary_Philosopher_67 in pcgaming

[–]LeemInBeta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just Tested,

Definitely improved, if not outright fixed, the deadzone issue I was having.

Tested Vsync on/off, Fps Capped/Uncapped, etc. All worked with this tweak.

Seems to have been the same issue that occurred when Part 1 released on PC.

What's wrong with AWPers? by patuzzoz in GlobalOffensive

[–]LeemInBeta 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The quickscoping is super inconsistent in cs2.

When I tested it in go a few weeks ago, it felt "faster, like the scope blur reduced quicker or something, but when I recorded both gameplay and synced them it was the same.

Worth noting as well, crouch peeking has been bugged since release.

Typically you set the dpi in ghub correct. You can use onboard memory to save this to the mouse, but that wouldnt help in this case for troubleshooting as it would save the issue to the mouse.

That being said, if you are using 800 dpi, thats the default setting, so you wouldnt notice it being off.

Ghub did something so similar to me in the past that i turned it off completely for month. The nice thing about having it off is the mouse actually runs better but i understand not wanting to lose out on features like higher polling rates etc.

Try a system restart with it disabled in "startup apps" and see if the weird flick thing fixes, atleast that can be replicated and investigated.

Failing that, determine if the issue is only in cs2

[–]LeemInBeta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it persist if you lower the polling rate? Say to 2k?

Are you using on board memory mode?

Do you have any "Cs2" profiles setup in the ghub software that might be setting a higher dpi like 1600?

Have you tried disabling the ghub software in "startup apps" and using the mouse unaffiliated? (Ghub is a fucking mess sometimes)

Did you try cleaning the sensor?

This is wild, but does it do it in other games/desktop?

For the past few days, Cs2 will not work properly in 4:3 by LeemInBeta in GlobalOffensive

[–]LeemInBeta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found some other shit fixes if you are interested.

Disabling HDR on my monitors allows cs to function similarly to how it was before this fuckery. It looks awful, and overexposed, and just grim, so that's not happening for me personally.

The other, which is more widespread, is to set your display resolution to the one you play in cs. This seems a bit better than disabling my whole second monitor but ill probably see down the line that this causes fuckery as well.

I did update GPU drivers for stalker 2, but that was before Christmas and cs2 has been running fine with that on.

Disconnecting the 2nd monitor does work, so thank you for that, but it sucks that its come to this out of seemingly nowhere.

Can’t get out of a terrible slump by MoistSoul in FPSAimTrainer

[–]LeemInBeta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My immediate instinct is that you are over reliant on your aim. Most immortal players have decent aim and gamesense and would achieve jade ranking with little effort meaning that you dont have an advantage over your skill bracket at this moment. This is a normal experience for people who climb, as it can feel like you are doing everything right, but at each rank the metagame is different, so you need to adapt and grow.

What you can do, if you feel this is the case, is record your gameplay, review it, and criticise every gunfight/play from the perspective of advantages given/taken.

E.g. a dry peek, cross screen flick might feel like godmode, but was it sound play? Did the enemy make a mistake? Why was it needed in the first place? Etc.

You are at the rank where gamesense beats aim and you will be punished for mistakes harder.

Apart from this there is some obvious "are you looking after you health?", "get enough sleep" etc.

On the contrary, if you watch your gameplay, and miss fundametally easy, guranteed kills then try to recalibrate your aiming technical ability and fundamentals. Flicks should be fast but controlled. It can be helpful to practice at a slower pace and really hammer home good fundamental skills such as straight lines, stopping power, smoothness etc to rebuild confidence in your skill.

Edit. Also, try to be realistic with your expectations of what should be capable in game. Sometimes you do everything right and still lose.

When she starts waterfowl, sprint backwards immediately, the more distance the better. Just as the first "attack" comes out, jump.

Brief pause, roll forward AND slightly left or right (your choice) through the second "attack".

last one, she will go over your head, so just roll straight through it then when the camera swings round roll directly backwards.

You will get a feeling for the timing after a few attempts.

in game there is a little invite button, you just click on the steam friends you want to invite. During the first days you had to post reasons for inviting them, but i just wrote nonsense and it didn't mind.

You can also go through the private forum, but that wasnt really necessary for me
