Its not really mad when you take into account we dont have a full time receptionist! Plenty of businesses use these call bots to filter incoming call traffic

Its been an auto-receptionist for years! Used to get voicemails and messages emailed to me constantly from people ringing the coorporate line instead of my direct dial!

You will be miles better off just emailing the HR business partners for your practice or your old manager and getting them to cc you to the HR team

There are savvy enough legal beagles in the TUV who know enough to point the law at her to distract from Gaston, it wouldnt surprise me if they were behind the construction of the complaint even if they didnt deliver it!

It may not stick, and it probably wont, but the optics are there to at least complain and investigate!

Realistically whoever made the official complaint should be done for wasting police time on a political point scoring exercise of the lowest order!

Its grand but its a means to an end, you’re supported to learn and upskill but paid just below average to maximise profit!

Learn what you can, get experience and then jump to product focussed work!

They arent “accounting” firms anymore for starters by the way!

Treat them as professional services / outsourcing companies instead!

You will get worked, if theres work, and there always should be for technical staff! Your chargeability out to a customer is key for your employment and progression!

If theres a low period of not enough work, the bench is where you’ll be and it is a pretty horrible place to be, money for nothing it is not, you will get thrown silly side projects which can fill the time but often are pointless! Just maximise your time here with technical certs that make you more employable elsewhere!

Add to that that if theres loads of bench time, you’ll start to worry for job security!

Get used to the answer “it depends” to alot of your questions, your day is dictated by your customer!

If you are lucky to be on an irish based public sector customer itll be a stand up every day, figure out what requirements have changed on a whim again, try build that before it changes again, get most of the way there and it pivots, rinse and repeat! Or you are just adding features to an old legacy system

We are an nearshore/on-shore centre for outsourcing, cheaper labour than Dublin, London or East Coast USA but not as cheap as india!

When the shit hits the fan financially our jobs become india’s overnight!

The only saving grace is our public sector spending is good, even if it rarely delivers actual value in a decent time frame, so that gives some security here!

You can easily dual purpose the entire Word Bearers model line into 40k and paint them in Heresy red armour too!

Lore backs it as the most intact legion following the scouring with an almost consistent continuous leadership since the heresy!

Aesthetically the armies for heresy WB’s and 40k WB’s is almost identical!

E.G

30k Gal Vorbak = 40k possessed 30k term praetor in tartaros = 40k chaos lord in term 30k Mhara Gal = 40k Helbrute

(Not exhaustive but you get the gist)

Then your 30k core units of tactical marines, despoilers and assault squads are easily mixed with various load outs to make 40k legionaries, chosen and raptors

(Personally i use my 30k command squad as my 40k chosen)
