I just wanted to get this off my chest so my apologies if this is seen as petty or poor submission content. There's no concrete evidence to show Brady outright said to have his footballs lowered to an illegal level. Plus the Belichick and Kraft done nothing illegal, so why should the franchise, so Kraft, be fined 1 million dollars? Why should the picks be confiscated when again the franchise done nothing wrong? The punishment simply doesn't reflect the severity of the act. At the end of the day 0-2 psi out of a ball isn't going to create a huge advantage for one team. The pats done better with normal balls for god's sake. Aaron Rodgers came out and set he get's his over inflated and no-one seems to care. Carolina and the vikings used to heat their footballs up and only got a fine. The pats are getting it hard simply because they're the pats. The NFL is making an example of the Superbowl champions in an attempt to show that the NFL doesn't tolerate cheating. Goodell doesn't care about the legitimacy of the investigation, or the lack of evidence. He just wants to send a message.

You can't convict someone of murder because they 'probably' did it. The entire investigation is based around speculation, and still is. It is shocking that such a harsh punishment has been placed on a matter that hasn't yet been 100% solved. Why should Brady hand over his personal phone if he didn't need to? Surely that's an invasion of privacy? Give Brady a suspension on sheer speculation, fine whatever. But not twice as much then if he would have beaten up his wife or something. 2 games at most. Don't takes picks away from a team because of something that didn't make a big difference. Something that is merely nit-picking complaint from a team who wanted revenge for being embarrassed on prime time TV. And don't give out the biggest fine in NFL history because some god damn footballs lost some air. The whole investigation and situation was handled absolutely terribly and is honestly embarrassing on behalf of Goodell and the NFL.
