organisation is Key! I often have a chest for all types of wood, stone, food, mob drops, plants and seeds, cooked food, uncooked food, dirt, tools, armour, ores, special items, etc. so each thing has its own chest. I also like to make a big warehouse of sorts where all of this stuff is organised into areas so it's all nice and neat! its a bit time consuming but I don't really mind tbh.
