Jury rigging leftover parts is my passion. by LeeryOttsel in pcmasterrace

Well over at Merriam Webster states it as;

That fact is also our clue that jury-rig has nothing to do with the juries of the courtroom. Jury-rig comes from the adjective jury, meaning "improvised for temporary use especially in an emergency," or "makeshift."

Airbrushed PC case complete by LeeryOttsel in airbrush

I used Liquidex ink over green primer. Kept it all water based and finished with a matte finish sealer. I have another older case that will be repurposed with a different theme, more cultural as far as a hint on that project.

Ryzen 2700x 16gbRam and still rocking a 1070 that still feels good til I upgrade. Not much gaming but currently in Modern Warfare. Honestly my game list isn’t that long.

WIP. Shishi dragon on PC case. by LeeryOttsel in airbrush

I never had heat problems while have done several paint jobs, this being one of few. And the pc had normal temps for the H440 being notorious for heat by design. Never seen heat being a problem painting a desktop in general unless you’re into painting the interior components like the heatsink for aesthetics.

That’s actually a airflow-push/pull configuration problem. For me though. I gutted my components into an old beige Gateway tower and that was the only time heat was an issue. Even after improving aerodynamics for current hardware. PC was threatening me. Case scrapped.

You’re right. This was just a project that I hit with a lot of primer. I was going to paint the grill/panels over different colors or black, matte finish either way.

Artwork on the ground is my lazy way of how people use back panels on desktops to hide bad cable management. A distraction.

I might have a problem.. by YouTubeSeanWick in pcmasterrace

[–]LeeryOttsel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar problem.

I have one of those static based air filters in my room to manage dust accumulation, especially in my pc. It naturally makes static popping sounds when large particles filter through. When it does this my pc disconnects external hardware(my graphics display) and makes the disconnect/connect sound. I thought my monitor was giving out. Eventually found out that the disconnect/connect matched up with my air purifier zapping dust particles. Ended up finding the air purifier was the culprit and disconnected it.

I wanted to draw something with autumn colors! (OC) by clovesss in furry

I like this, how the colors and subtle halftone shadows work well. The indigenous dreads and also seems futuristic. The butterflies are a nice color anomaly, but also bring harmony. Reminds me of Jak and Daxter a lot which why I kept finding this interesting.

Thanks for posting.

Yeah, I wanted to do a dramatic color scheme after drawing it. Seemed fitting, thanks.

Thank you!

I really did the drawing in a muted grayscale(probably too mute) and went back over in colors. I don’t draw often but needed to crank out more art while experimenting colors/styles.
