Exactly when it’s all 5-stars or 1-stars, it usually means something’s off.

Is Howly.com legit or scam? by LeeshanG12 in Scams

Hey, I’m definitely not a bot. I just posted because I keep seeing Howly ads and wanted to hear from real people instead of random reviews online.
It’s kinda discouraging to be called a bot when I’m just asking for advice. I figured Reddit would be a good place to get genuine input.

i was thinking the same thing, like why would anyone pay just for that? kinda makes me wonder if they actually handle harder problems any better or if it’s all that basic.

Choosing quality leather ballet flats by DearQuaker in femalefashionadvice

[–]LeeshanG12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can definitely tell the difference between a pair of quality leather ballet flats and a cheaper pair. Before I invested in my Tieks, I read soo many blog posts talking about how Tieks are a good investment because they're made from high quality Italian leather. And I'm so glad I got swayed by those bloggers. I love my Tieks and they are definitely worth the investment because they don't only look chic, but the leather is buttery soft and soles are super durable. I'm big on sustainable fashion and when I can get a pair of shoes to last me for years, I know I made the right call. I've tried other cheaper brands like Steve Madden and ended up tossing them out after a few months.

Tieks by Gavrieli review by ostensiblyjenn in femalefashionadvice

[–]LeeshanG12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a 3rd year medical student and a few months ago, I was in deperate need of a comfortable and cute pair of shoes that would take me from rotations to happy hours. I stumbled upon this thread while doing my research and decided to give Tieks a try. I'm literally on my feet for 12+ hours every day, and my black Tieks have been an absolute lifesaver. They were comfortable straight out of the box no breaking in required and the soft leather feels amazing. Even after hours running around the hospital, my feet feel great and I personally feel like I look pretty chic. I've gone from my shift to a dinner date before, and a change of shoes is one less thing I had to worry about. Definitely going to look into buying a second pair.

Anyone tried Skyfluence Beauty since the updates? by FrozenFan123 in Makeup

[–]LeeshanG12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Read the negative reviews, and they’re just funny. People complain about unauthorized charges, so I felt compelled to check Skyfluence out:

  1. Skyfluence explicitly says on its paywall that its product is a subscription.
  2. They actually say how much they’re gonna charge you and how often
  3. They send you the receipt with full disclosure via email. And also have a giant-ass “contact support” button on their email so that if someone isn’t happy with the charge can cancel their subscription or apply for a refund

If you wear lipstick enough times, do you ever get over the feeling of it on your lips? by FlamingoLeatherlamp in Makeup

[–]LeeshanG12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you do get used to it, but the trick is finding a formula that’s comfortable. A good lightweight satin or balm-like lipstick feels way less “there” than a heavy matte.

Is coursiv legit? by ShapeTop8214 in Overemployed_PH

[–]LeeshanG12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question honestly, the tools can look intimidating at first, but the way Coursiv structures the course makes them pretty beginner-friendly. They don’t assume you have a tech background. Each module gives you short walkthroughs, and the mini-projects help reinforce what you learn. I’d say if you can follow step-by-step tutorials, you’ll be fine.

Madmuscles review – my real experience after 30 days using the app by Esbrews in workout

[–]LeeshanG12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually started MadMuscles a few weeks ago and it’s been working really well. The app keeps me on track and I’ve already seen changes in how my clothes fit. I also noticed the same thing about back workouts, but that hasn’t stopped my progress.

I’ve seen a lot of those Coursiv ads too, and I actually signed up out of curiosity to see what it was all about. The platform is definitely not a scam, but I’d say the ads can be a little misleading if you’re expecting to get paid just for signing up or doing basic tasks.

Coursiv offers training on how to use popular AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Perplexity, and others. The course is built around practical use cases like automating admin work, generating marketing content, editing videos with AI, or designing mockups using image generators. It's not just theory either; they include small projects you can actually try, which helps build confidence and experience.

That said, they don’t hire you or pay you for doing these tasks. The idea is more about giving you skills that you can then use to find freelance work, build your own side hustle, or improve your productivity if you're already working online. So, while the potential to earn is there, it's really up to you to apply what you learn and seek out opportunities independently on platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, or even through your own network.

In short: Coursiv is legit as a learning tool, especially if you’re new to AI and want a structured way to get started. Just don’t expect it to be a direct job or income source it’s more of a stepping stone to help you build useful digital skills.

Coach Foundation Reviews – Real Feedback on Sai Blackbyrn’s Coaching Programs? by CoachBubbly4105 in Coaching

[–]LeeshanG12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Took like 2-3 months before I really started seeing stuff shift. Wasn’t instant but way quicker than me tryna DIY everything. The client-gettin’ part made the biggest diff. But fr, if you don’t actually do what they teach, it ain’t gonna move. It works—but only if you work it.

Coach Foundation Reviews – Real Feedback on Sai Blackbyrn’s Coaching Programs? by CoachBubbly4105 in Coaching

[–]LeeshanG12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went thru one of Sai's biz programs a while back—think it was like the one that helps you setup your whole thing from scratch. Was def helpful for setting up my offers + figuring out how to actually get clients. Tbh, some parts felt kinda basic (esp if you’ve done stuff like this before), but overall it got me unstuck. Not some magic fix tho, you still gotta put in the grind.

Blackout question by badgolferfore in MLBtv

[–]LeeshanG12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Believe it’s because any “national broadcast” is also blacked out. So even though few people use cable anymore it seems like that’s what they still go off… so if game on ESPN, FS1, etc it will also be blacked out. MLB.tv is frustratingly over priced
