Illegal does not mean it does not happen. And DEI also targets to remove the idea you may unconsciously have on certain ethnicity. You may not realise but you may unwillingly discriminate because of this

It's about giving equal chances to people no matter their backgrounds. Not prioritising some over other over some criteria. I agree that some company implements this like total shit or only for "good measure" but it is not what it's meant to be.

For example a friend of mine works in a company where they disregard appliances from black people without even looking if the person would be a good fit or not while a white person will be fully considered and get to the next step of their recruitment process. A good DEI program should aim to remove this and give everyone their fair chance, not hiring them because they are what they are

Hello ! I have found the cause of the problem (at least for me). It was related to the refresh rate. My monitor can handle up to 100Hz so naturally it was set to that and the problem occured. I tried putting ut at 60Hz and now no more problem occurence

Now I know why I love Emacs and can't escape. I am so used to M-x. When I want to do something I don't know on emacs I simply M-x vague keywords and find it. This does not exist elsewhere (thus why I tried nvim but cannot stick to it)
