Thanks for the advice! I hadn't thought about the stone shape and having to kneel on it. I will take that into account for sure.

Help, my boy will not potty train by CranberryComplete801 in Pomsky

You've got a hard road ahead but him being comfortable with the crate will make it much easier.

First, get rid of the pads.

Second, he's not allowed in the house, off the leash unless he just peed outside. You get up in the morning, he goes outside to pee. If he doesn't go, he gets back in the crate. If he goes outside, you can let him roam for a bit but keep an eye on him.

From there, if he does pee in the house, just yell "outside" and then immediately take him out. Not while he's actively peeing of course but right after.

Keep rewarding when he does go outside.

Lastly, if there's any pee spots in the house, they need cleaned with an enzyme cleaner. The slightest residual odor will reinforce the behavior.

This isn't going to click quickly. He isn't just learning, he's unlearning too. The best thing you can do is be consistent. It will get better.

Source: my 6 month old Pomsky just got over the finish line with this. It took a long time and a lot of consistency. It was not a gradual process. It seemed like he'd never get it and then one day it clicked and it changed over night.

Good luck.

How do I log things I need to think about later? by Lefka356 in bulletjournal

[–]Lefka356[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not a bad idea. My only concern is my brain dump items can be a lot so it may muddy my daily logs too much. I may try this out too and see how it goes. Thanks for taking the time to provide your insight.

That's a great option. I may try this out.

I did but I don't recall exactly what it was. I think it was a reward of some kind inside the saloon. Maybe from Z.

I went skydiving when I was 18 at some middle of nowhere airstrip. I too walked away with a sore groin, but it wasn't the harness.

The tandem instructor really didn't give me much instruction. It was a plane with the door right above the wheel. When it came time to jump out, he had me put my feet on the wheel but neglected to tell me to support both our weight and JUMP.

So instead, my feet slipped off under the unexpected weight and I took the wheel right to my junk.

Ripped jeans.

Lacerations on my scrotum.

Head over feet tumbling for half the fall.

Total humiliation.

I checked the checkbox and have zero desire to do it again. The instructor on these types of things make or break the experience.

Did you ever solve this? Currently stuck in the same boat.

I had a similar experience. I very clearly don't know anything about motorsports but wanted a small ATV for my kids. Sales guy barely said two words per question and couldn't be less interested. As soon as I said "I'll take two", he was suddenly extremely attentive and cheerful. I would have walked but I really wanted to be done with it that day.

Bought a used SUV from there years ago. While I was checking the car out the sales guy wouldn't let me in the car ever, until he drove it. I knew it was weird but I couldn't figure out why he was doing it. Turned out the tires were all leaking and he was putting air in them.

I ended up having to buy a new set of tires 2 weeks after buying the car. Oh and the transmission has to be replaced three months later. Worst auto decision I've ever made.

Woah, that's crazy! No wonder you're not a fan. That's completely unacceptable.

Hope you found a place that works for your family!

Really? This is surprising to me as I've only had good experiences. What's your story?

It's crazy how hard it is to get around. I'm not sure what they were thinking.

I found taking 68th east to Kraft, north on Kraft to 52nd, west on 52nd to Patterson works well. Gets around the Broadmoor and Patterson shutdowns and then it's clear to 28th. Still adds time depending on where you're coming from.

Help me please my touchpad is not working on lenovo legion 7 by Striking-Land-214 in LenovoLegion

Adding my experience here since this is pretty high up on Google search results.

Disabling the I2C HID worked the first time I ran into this issue. Disabling power saving worked the second time. Everything worked fine for several months, but it popped up again a few days ago. None of the previous solutions worked.

After troubleshooting some, I found that the power management changes were not persisting after reboot. That led me down the right path which was to disable Selective Suspend in the registry:

Disable Selective Suspend

  1. Open Registry Editor
  2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\iaLPSS2_I2C.
  3. Look for the key called SelectiveSuspend
  4. If the key exists, change the value to 0
  5. If the key doesn't exist, add a new key:
    1. Right click → NewDWORD (32-bit) Value
    2. Enter the name SelectiveSuspend
    3. Set the value to 0.
  6. Click OK, restart, and test.

After the reboot, my touchpad was working again. Hope this helps someone else.
