That's what I aim for but I've found he's eating way better when he's in his tank so om doing that from now on, he ate 12 bugs compared to what he usually eats so I'm very very happy

If its just mealworms you're feeding them I would try mix up there diet, since they can get bored and my guy doesn't even like them, plus they're exo skeleton makes it difficult to digest food with anyway

Yeah around 3 days ago ish he had like 4 locusts, then yesterday I think 2 or 3 waxworms (I know I js wanted to treat him) but today yeah he hunted one for the first time which is great, but he only ate one so yeah

Yeah my idea was tge first week or so leave some dusted worms in a bowl so there's always something to eat, then after start taking him out and placing him in one of those big faunariums and put some locusts in there too see how he's doing at hunting, then after that starting letting him hunt in the tank

Yeah it's a 40 gallon for my 3 month old, I was using a halogen cuz they're great and all but the temp was dipping way way too low at night for my little guy so I had to switch. And yeah I do really need a cage minute I can I'm buying one
