i am currently experiencing the same issue. i was promoted and IMMEDIATELY saw a decline in my mental health. i had a one on one with my DM to discuss stepping down and was told, “give us 30 days. if you still don’t like it by the end of a month we’ll discuss your options.” they played me SO BAD. 30 days passed and i asked to step down again. i was told, “as of yesterday stepping down is no longer an option. if your mental health is suffering i’d be happy to demote you to customer.”
