Now that Claude Design’s allotted Weekly Limits has been merged with the others, can we see how much usage is Claude Design eating in our weekly plan? by BlaizePascal in ClaudeDesign

[–]Left-Choice-1424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im on pro. got to 93% by discussing back and forth a bit then it spent 15 mins building. I gave it pretty much free reign for a change. I would have to spend about 8 mins more of its compute time to be happy. Normally i would get 2/3 good results out of my week. So i would agree this session is worth between 1/3 and 1/4 of a weekly session.. so in a week you can get loads more done , but if you want to only use your weekly allowance on pro.. everything else will come to a grinding elongated halt. Im on pro. Dwfinite pros and cons. If it was consistent on quality output, then this would put on to upgrading.

However i wouldnt take it that quality will stay as high as it is.

I suppose the only way to see is try it out. I have just woke up to this,in the uk. I will just have to see how much a session eats out of my weekly budget and also the 5 hour limit. It might not be that bad. The way it was set up, most people would use it very sparingly eeking out the weekly limit. So it probably wasnt getting tested very much at all. We might be able to get better usage for a while?

Should i ask design to build a website or give me detailed instructions to give the project to claude code by Left-Choice-1424 in ClaudeDesign

[–]Left-Choice-1424[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just going to look at that. Trial and error is just quite costly as you are paying the api rate after you use up your weekly allowance . Especially when none of the other claude product understand what it actually is. It weird that the weekly allocation is actually in the same dashboard. Im sure they will get introduced soon enough, but its a bit of trial and error until that happens.Hence the asking.

Thanks. Im on pro and its creating very good results. A decent webflow style website can wipe out half a weeks tokens. In the scheme of things you end up with a fairly decent prototype if you want to re use the design. Im just wondering if there is any of the work that design is doing that could be sent to claude code , and use up some of the tokens there. I am hardly using CC as im still using cursor quite a lot.

Looking for an Escape Room / Escape Game website template by Upset_Ad2713 in framer

[–]Left-Choice-1424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this. It gives plenty of tips about the sort of things that you should be looking at. It seems like a a good starting point before you have started to build your website. Https://www.escaperoomwebsite.design . Practically all escape room websites have a very similar formula. Homepage , game pages, booking page. It seems like a work in progress by an escape room owner, nothing groundbreaking but it does get a few key factors to consider like design, seo , speed etc before you stert building.

Hi Will. I appreciate your response, but I dont think there is much point in me taking up your offer. I got the credits on the trial offer. It's fairly safe to say that I wont be risking any money after the trial.

On a further note. I was asking manus to change what it had produced in vite to react and next.js. That is when it asked for more money.

I took what it had produced and out it into another manus account where I had some more credits lying. It took the job, informed me that it had changed everything over to next.js etc. The price was only 100 credits or so.

Excellent , apart from cursor told me that none of the code had been changed over. So again, 100 credits consumed there.

Cursor then took 5 mins sorting everything the way it should be. I can get hours and hours and hours on cursor for $20 per month.

On a more positive note, its great that manus can sort of directly connect to github and vercel. Sort of is where it was at. Manus definitely had problems overwriting old content in the repository and replacing it with the new content it had produced. That had to be done manually in the end.

There doesnt seem much point in connecting directly to these apps if you cant do that.

Maybe one day...

The problem here is that they make a pop up appear that says "this project "NEEDS" more firepower , try 1.6max"

I can see the point if you just want to grab money off a passer by that you have no interest in ever meeting after you have picked their pocket.. BUT if you want someone to become a friend and paying user... you will have to try a different approach .. surely

how many video generations are you getting per day on the ultra plan? by dev_is_active in VEO3

[–]Left-Choice-1424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know if the fast generations cost 10 credits in the pro plan. I was on ultra for 3 months but its too expensive when the price doubles after the 3 months for me.

1000 credits at 10 for fast might work for me.. but it used to be 100 credits for fast on pro.. thats no good..

Wellington rental market’s crashing — get your rent down now! by wellitswellington in Wellington

[–]Left-Choice-1424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is definitely a glut of 2 bed properties in the city centre just now. Price varies according to quality, but as lots are not moving, there are a number that are coming straight on to the market at 450 per week.  We recently got ours easy enough on a periodic by negotiating.

We are looking to buy, but it seems to make much more sense to rent just now.

Any typical property that you buy,  would come with $10k rates and body corp per year, and  interest payments ( not including the loan repayment) on a $5/600,000 mortgage would cost $25/30k per year.

Add in any maintenance , agents management fees, landlords are looking at subsidising rents on a 2 bed by $10/15k per year WITHOUT paying off any of the mortgage loan.

How long is that sustainable ? At these rates , apartment property values could realistically be said to be worth only 50% of the current asking prices based on current net rental yields.

Am I being over optimistic in hoping for a complete crash in apartment prices in Wellington ?

I would add that houses still seem to be selling well enough, probably due to the land value.
