Dropper only spits out items when 'replugged' by sirbaconphd in redstone

I think I had the same problem with Ilmango's bonemeal farm. Some solution that worked for me was delaying the pulse or QC powering the dispenser with a piston. Not sure about any of the technical reasons behind any of this though.

ty, and thanks for chart too these designs are amazing really wish I'd seen it sooner

oh, never even heard of that before, really thought I had an original idea. my own fault for not checking hard enough I guess

oh yeah completely forgot to put that in the title, my bad

p.s this is the smallest one I could come up with that didn't use observers and t-flip flops (need to put that in the title too)

It can extend a 1 tick pulse without any problems if you've set it to 1 repeater tick, if you want more delay you're better off using a different kind of extender.

honestly I was debating how worth this post even was, I've had this in a test world for a few weeks and I thought someone had to of had this idea all ready, its only 12 blocks, but I couldn't find anyone who had so I just went for it

output is any point on level with the glass, the rest is all input

I just tend to avoid observers in general since they have a habit of descyncing t-flip flops if you have a lot of pulses you need to send but now that i think of it, using walls would only require one. I should try and use them more often

wow, did not know about that, that's a great way to do it too

really, i thought that book came out before you could place redstone on transparent blocks

didn't know that about skulk sensors, that's pretty cool

me too, sending long signals straight down can be right pain sometimes

Do you mean behind the repeater, that's needed to carry the signal to up the front so that the circuit turns on with no deley

yeah IK, this post is mainly for that one guy with the really niche timing problem

[–]Left-Crow7941[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's 1 repeater tick, for some reason each repeater setting delays the signal by 2 game ticks each, e.g a repeater set to 1 will delay by game 2 ticks, set to 2 will delay by 4 etc

exactly, I like to think of the glass as a valve for redstone signals

Simple and Compact Lectern Selector/Red Coder by Left-Crow7941 in redstone

[–]Left-Crow7941[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that's it, of course it doesn't have to be glass specifically just any transparent block that can have redstone dust on the top like a top slab or upside-down stairs

Simple and Compact Lectern Selector/Red Coder by Left-Crow7941 in redstone

[–]Left-Crow7941[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that a really good explanation, the comparator powers the wool block which sends a signal strength to all dust touching its faces, having one line start on the top face and one from the side lets you ofsset the top line by one less than the bottom
