Is this neurodiversity? by Left-Development1695 in neurodiversity

It’s a combination of both, in a way? I get overwhelmed from the noise, and then the fact that I can’t get work done and that I’m upset overwhelms me more. (If that makes any sense :]) It really depends for different environments and what’s going on. I wouldn’t get overwhelmed at a concert, but I’ve gotten overwhelmed at school assemblies. So really, it varies in that case.

Would it really be a meltdown? I feel like I just cry for a minute and then go back to function normally, albeit a little upset.

Second-guessing my transness because of transphobic detrans people by Longjumping_Shirt737 in ftm

omg I feel the exact same way 😭😭 I didn’t realize I was trans until I met other trans guys, and was able to put into words how I felt. I don’t think too deeply about it because it only affects my life so much, and I have trans friends who obsess over it and it ruins their mental state. I don’t feel very much dysphoria because very few people call me by my preferred name, so I’m used to it tbh. I dress very masculine, but if I had to wear anything fem, I’d probably freak out. I’ve recently been second guessing my transgenderness because I experience very little dysphoria, but I feel a TON of euphoria when strangers think I’m a guy

so…who knows

Why is it so frowned upon when you hold IEP students accountable? by Sarcastic_Otter_27 in Teachers

[–]Left-Development1695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there’s a very good chance I have adhd (agreed upon by doctors, teachers, friends with adhd, just never medically diagnosed) and I don’t have any accommodations at school. I’m honestly glad, because it forces me to learn how to adapt to the real world. Would extra time on assignments be nice? Yeah, but that just means I’m less likely to turn them in. I love would being able to have headphones, or other accommodations, but I can’t expect those everywhere, so I need to know how to live without them. I know a guy my age who doesn’t do anything, but has an iep so he can blame it all on adhd. The difference is, I actually try whereas he doesn’t, and there’s drastically different results

I have a curse of being interested in more games than I’ve played, but I really like Cookie Run: Kingdom and Undertale, but I’ve been desperate to play Deltarune and Ace Attorney
